Real Names Fix

This is our Real Names Fix for Football Manager 2022 Mobile, new and exclusive for FMMVibe.com with thanks to FMScout.com for the original real names fix.

File Contents

The file contains real name fixes for 1866 clubs and 442 competitions.

How to Download?

This pack is freely available for all our members to download from our high-speed download servers, without torrents!

Simply click the big green Download button above and carefully follow the instructions below to install the logos on your device.

Installation Instructions

iOS Devices (iPhone, iPad)

You need to download this file on your computer with iTunes/Apple Music installed on it.

Open iTunes/Apple Music/Finder, and go to Files on the section for your iOS device (you can connect through USB or WiFi, but keep in mind that USB will be quicker). Click on FM22 Mobile on the panel in the middle of the screen to open the file browser. If the file browser that appears is not empty, then you do not have a clean installation of the game and need to read the red box above.

Click and drag the changes.txt file you downloaded earlier into this file browser and wait until the "Date Modified" column changes to the current time.

Go back onto your iOS device, and open the game. It might take a minute for the cache to build.

Go into Settings, then to the User Interface section. You should scroll to the bottom of the settings list, and press the Reload Skin button.

Android Devices

If you downloaded on your computer, copy the files to your device by using an application like AirDroid or connect your device via USB, and copy the changes.txt file into the FM/Documents directory. You might need to create this directory.

At this stage, you should open the game, and go into Settings, then to the User Interface section. You should scroll to the bottom of the settings list, and press the Reload Skin button.

This year, we will not be offering support for our downloadable files.

Our instructions are fully complete and tested, and if they do not work for you then you will need to solve the problem yourself. Every device works a little bit differently, and we can't test on everything.

Took me a while, turns out it wasn't moving properly and somehow reverting back to the FM folder rather than the documents folder.

Using Android, and for those struggling check to see that it is 172kb. When mine was moved to the folder it was showing as 0kb hence why it wouldn't work.

Search in changes.txt for the name, and delete this line

Update - I see that these clubs change every new game start, so I think there will be a lot of work to do (some Brazilian clubs in the game have a long name).

I got informed by a Chinese gamer (ID:一起打灰机）at https://tieba.baidu.com/f?kw=fmh that CLUB in changes.txt has changed from FMM2021. 

The new format is below:

"CLUB" "Full club name" "Nation" "New club name" "New short name" "New Club Abb" "Reputation" "New league"

The red marked field is for club Abb. which is shown in scoreboard in match. 

I checked the real name fix 1.0.0 version, the clubs have not updated as this. This maybe why someone find there is still "Zebre" shown on the scoreboard.

Hope this could help the update of realname fix.

It doesn't work correctly.

The right string (I give you an example) is:

"CLUB" "Zebre" "" "Juventus FC" "Juventus" "JUV"

You don't need to fill the NAT section. In this way it works with all game languages! ;)

Does anyone know why the name fixes with some competitions are no longer changed? For example, the reserve championships, or the champions' trophy in the Argentine league. In the 2021 version, the name  change of these competitions works correctly with the "COMPETITION" tag

Unfortunately you can’t fix that just from changes need a more extensive editing of the game . In previous years here’s what they did for NT with gray players if u want give it a go but remember that’s from FMM21 but u get an idea how to do it.

 

Think you need minimum 50 players with the nationality, need add real players to 23 man roster and also make yourself manager at the start of save which can only be done by using in game editor if you buy it or system called Hex editing which I never got into but here’s thread if u wanna try

there are about 3 - 4 clubs that are displayed as 0 (team name) - like Liechtenstein, but it can be easily fixed by searching for "0" and replace it with "". thank you very much for your effort, its working fine on my android phone.

This fix doesn’t change the player names as the only reason you would need that is if you have a pirated version of the game. 

We don’t support piracy here and so don’t supply downloads to help with that or allow any discussion of piracy on the forums.
