This is our Real Names Fix for Football Manager 2023 Mobile, new and exclusive for FMMVibe.com with thanks to FMScout.com for the original real names fix.

The file contains real name fixes for 1808 clubs and 430 competitions.

How to Download?

Simply click the big green Download button above and carefully follow the instructions below to install the fix on your device.

Installation Instructions

iOS Devices (iPhone, iPad)

You need to download this file on your computer with iTunes/Apple Music installed on it.

Open iTunes/Apple Music/Finder, and go to Files on the section for your iOS device (you can connect through USB or WiFi, but keep in mind that USB will be quicker). Click on FM23 Mobile on the panel in the middle of the screen to open the file browser. If the file browser that appears is not empty, then you do not have a clean installation of the game and need to read the red box above.

Click and drag the changes.txt file you downloaded earlier into this file browser and wait until the "Date Modified" column changes to the current time.

Go back onto your iOS device, and open the game. It might take a minute for the cache to build.

Go into Settings, then to the User Interface section. You should scroll to the bottom of the settings list, and press the Reload Skin button.

Android Devices

If you downloaded on your computer, copy the files to your device by using an application like AirDroid or connect your device via USB, and copy the changes.txt file into the Sigames/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023 Mobile directory. You might need to create this directory.

At this stage, you should open the game, and go into Settings, then to the User Interface section. You should scroll to the bottom of the settings list, and press the Reload Skin button.

This year, we will not be offering support for our downloadable files.

Our instructions are fully complete and tested, and if they do not work for you then you will need to solve the problem yourself. Every device works a little bit differently, and we can't test on everything.

Then you have not read the instructions correctly. It clearly says "You need to download this file on your computer with iTunes/Apple Music installed on it."

For anyone that's still having issues with this, then give this a go (Only tried on Android)

- Download a zip file management app (I use AndroZip) and the file linked above for name changes

- Copy the file into the folder it says above and then open the game (make sure it's swiped from recent apps) and then go to settings, interface and press reload skin

- If that doesn't work then make sure the file name reads 'changes.txt'

My issue was that I have previously download a file with that name so when I downloaded this one it made it 'changes (1).txt'

I have this too, i think it has to do with the "Short name" vs full name.

Like how the club is called Manchester City, but in game will be shortened to ManC or whatever.

I usually fix this kind of thing with the in game editor as i notice it.

 

Stadium name was also wrong from memory

Sorry, i have no idea how the Changes.txt file works or how to edit it

the file you shared is working fine. but this time the problem has appeared the logo has become strange again. even though it was fine before. how about this one thing my friend? Thank you in advance.

Thanks so much! It works now. I was trying to find out what the issue was as it wasnt working!  Anyone else having issues should try this.

It has worked for me in such a way that the club and competition names have updated, but the players names are still all fake, and I have checked the option to ensure that fake players names aren't being used.

I don't remember which folder I gave permission in the 1st time start game. I've tried re-install but it doesn't ask me again for create new folder. Do you know how to dismiss old folder and create new one
