This may sound absurd but it is a 3-6-1 formation however, it is a very balanced one which is the best thing for a tactic (also it looks like an arrow hence the name). The whole formation is structured to save money as you will only need a few strikers and as they cost the most it should save cash for other areas yet, admittedly I play AMF/FCs in the AMC slot to play off the lone man.

There are two ways of getting it on your game:

Downloading it here

Or custom make it:

Formation: Created 3-6-1 like so:

GK

DC-DC-DC

DMC

MR-MC-ML

AMC-AMC

SC

Arrows: None

Team Instructions:

Mentality: Attacking

Passing: Mixed

Tackling: Normal

Rest: No

Player Instructions:

Passing: Team (all)

Tackling: Team (all)

Pressing: No (GK,DCx3,DMC)

Team (Others)

Pass to: R/L/C (all)

Set pieces (A): Normal (GK,ML,MR,MC)

Back (Outer DCs)

Forward (Others)

Set pieces (D): Normal (GK,ML,MR)

Back (DCx3,MC,FC)

Forward (Others)

Free Role: No (all)

Forward Runs: Yes (ML,MR,MC,AMCx2)

No (Others)

Run with ball: Yes (ML,MR)

No (Others)

Hold up ball: No (all)

Long shots: Yes (ML,MR.MC,AMCx2)

No (Others)

Through Balls: Yes (AMCx2)

No (Others)

Cross Ball: Yes (ML,MR)

No (Others)

Marking: Zonal (Outer DCs, DMC, MC)

Man (Inner DC)

None (Others)

Making it work:

To make the formation tick you will need two DCs who can play DR/DL to go either side in order to provide the defensive width.

The key part is your line of DC,DMC,MC,SC which will prove to be your strongest link, I would recommend a great MC and SC as they will both need to be all rounded players though the DMC will stop the runners from midfield.

What I do is play 2 AMF/FCs at AMC to play off the SC to create a triangle.

All suggestions and results please say as this is just something I have tried and had a few wins yet as it is Christmas I posted it for you so you can try it.

Cheers,

Dec
