Yeah, but remember it's based mainly on reputation and expectations at the start of the season, when a lot of the game was programmed!

Villa do start off with some quality players, may not be that hard to get into Europe.

Okay, they have Ireland, Bent, Agbonlahor, Vlaar, N'Zogbia, Albrighton, and Given, but they have a lot of youngsters who aren't the standard for competing with the European teams, such as Everton and Liverpool and Newcastle

Agreed. Having to play Ciaran Clark as their captain says it all really.

European qualification isn't that out-of-reach for Villa, they still have great players and you start with half-decent funds. Under the right management, Villa could easily be successful in the Premier League.

And one thing that bugs me in this game is that there's no actual distinction between a champions league spot and an Europa league one. The former is easily attainable with Villa.

Villa do have some quality players. Bent and Benteke upfront. Bent proven in real life to find the net. Although Lambert doesn't seem to like him. But Benteke is quite prolific on FMH, signed up and he bagged a lot of goals for me.

The rest is just average though. But a few additions and I think they'd stand a chance of Europe.
