The 1000 Goal Challenge:

 

The Same Challenge But A New Host:

 

I'm sure you all know about this challenge by now but Scott has asked me to host it for this year so here i am  :D.

 

The Rules:

  • You can manage any club in any league
  • Player can be real or regen
  • No preferences/unlockables
  • No uses of text changes or the save editor
  • No cheating - Restarting to avoid injuries counts as cheating!!
  • International goals count, but only the ones scored in game. So real life goals the player starts on don't count.
  • You have to earn international management, so you can not start with it.
  • A career can be posted but screen shots are needed as evidence.
  • If requested you must upload your save so we can check no cheating has taken place via the save editor, failure to do this will result in you being rejected from the leader board.
  • Own formations only

I don't blame Ash, as it's simple just too load Tom's tactic up and take all the credit for yourself. It makes it more of a challenge to find your own working tactic.

 

Currently doing this, I'm in season 2 :D

I'm not sure as of yet, because I have a few exams coming up soon so I'm not really wanting to post it ASAP then be forced to play! I'm playing relatively quickly now but I'm not as busy at the moment. Last year I done a couple and got too season 4/5 but couldn't continue playing! So I'll see when it comes to it :).

I'm gonna have to try this again this year :) doesn't look like my tactic's as good though. :(

Good, no 2k for you :P

Edit - I think the overall game difficulty is harder, and that AI are more aware of how to beat you.

Leader Boards:

I did this once on FMH13 my star player at Rangers got injured, I was gutted, out for 3 months with something or other so thought 'fook this', restarted the game from the last save point and within 5 games he ended up with a broken leg and out for close to a year, never tried it since as I dont want to tempt fate

2. That's cheating so you never tried it ;)

2. Ok, I never tried it, cheating is bad, learnt the hard way

3. A legit what, 1k challenge? I dont have the patience to, I was not trying a 1k when I did not cheat...Though I do like reading about peoples attempts at the challenges :-)

Hmmmm....how about player you created from My Club mode? are these player eligible for these challenges?

Unfortunately not, as you could set him at 5* potential in an easy league. You could argue that you could put his PA down and put him in a hard league, but to avoid such situation all use of my club on this challenge in banned.

I have completed this with Divock Origi.

Games Played - 809

Goals - 1,036

The career is still going strong, so I'll update when he finally hangs up his boots.

I'm going to be lazy and update when you've finished :P, congratz on first of the year though :D

Personally i still haven't clicked with 14 and even this challenge has failed to hook me :(. My life is a wreck :P
