2015 Question about place on the board

If i buy place on the board can i use it in a current game save?

i took over scottish league two team clyde i got them up to the championship then i had a shocking season in which i kept loosing no matter what i did and ended up tenth i was then sacked but no matter what i do i keep getting sacked everytime i reload so if i buy place on the board could i use it in this current save or can you use it on a new game only?

I believe so, just turn it on via preferences.
