2015 Challenge-The serie C master

This challenge starts in august 2015.It is a journey inside serie C, one of the most challenging leagues of the game. Here professional teams almost at serie b level are challenged by little, moneyless semi-professional teams. This unique competition has 60 teams, divided in 3 groups.

The challenge

You have been hired by Isola Liri, a semi professional team that plays in group C, probably the most difficult one. Despite having a very little stadium and adequate training facilities, their youth intake is very good and produces interesting youngsters. However, you won't stay here for long, they will be just the first step of the journey.

The objectives are:

Win the Serie C title 10 times

Win the Serie C italian cup 10 times

Win the Serie C manager of the year award 10 times

The rules are:

No unlockables

You can manage only serie C teams; you are forced to change club after every promotion

Winning the playoffs doesn't count as a trophy

 

The team

The team has been built by me with the purpose of making the first season (second of the career) a bit challenging, but a good human manager can easily escape relegation. Here's a quick look to the team, the tactic and some key players. SPOILER: there are no spoilers because i have no idea how to make them.

The team has no star players, so it's made to play 4-4-1-1, 4-4-2 and the other variants. It is a strange mixture of very young players, very old ones and some mature ones. The defence is the most solid part of the team, while the real value of offensive players is unknown for many reasons, like age. This is how, personally, i would play my team:

 

The goalkeeper is always a crucial player for every team. Here's ours, an overall good goalie  with some positioning problems:

 

Defenders, as i said, are fairly solid:

 

In midfield, this young talent may help:

 

Behind the striker, we have this old guy; he may be crucial for the team with his talent. Also, he is said to be a "Superb set piece specialist"

 

Up front, this guy looks incredibly promising:

 

If you decide to try the challenge, post it on vibe. I hope you will have fun and I wish you will have a good game. I uploaded the save's file, so just put it into the "saved games" folder using es file explorer. Apple users can play the challenge too, they just have to manage Isola Liri building their own team. Remember that it's an unplayable team in the first season, so you'll have to holiday for one season.
