Emre Can is an excellent BBM but I know it's hard as there aren't a lot of good BBM's Sven Bender is another option

Truthfully I tend to Auto pick when I start a new team until I get used to the better players. But if you really want I'd have a look

Hi taff I did it I one the league with athletic Madrid dybala scored 28 goals and 14 asists sign him from juve now going to second season and I wil let you no how I do

And our second season with Newcastle is at an end and it was pretty good

Managed to win the league with a 14 point gap on City and we had some great results along the way (most notably an 8-1 win against Southampton)

Not so hot in the cups out in the quarter finals of the capital one cup to Arsenal an annoying loss on away goals to Real Madrid in the first round of the Champions cup (coming back from 2-0 down to beat them 3-1 in the second leg) and an cracking final in the FA cup against City loosing in the 93rd minute.

Some player stats and end of season awards saw my IF take player of the year and my ST coming runner up in young player of the year but another manager of the year award for moi 

My two IF's and three Strikers claiming the top 5 spots with goals and my AP claiming a whopping 21 assists

So onto season three and managed to grab Volland at the end of the season and have a healthy transfer budget for season 3.

Only alterations are the BBM is now a DLP and the TM is an ADF

Well here we are and as previously stated I wanted to use this tactic with a less than amazing team just to see if it still works as well as it has been in my AC Milan and PSG saves so without further ado here's my first season at the mighty Aston Villa

So first the tactic I have made only two changes to the tactic since I got back to using it with Milan and PSG

Here's the Tactic and Team Instructions as I've been using them

 

So the instruction remain the same (I changed to Committed tackling quite early on in the life of this tactic) so the formation has two changes the TM up front has now become an ADF and the BBM is now a DLP both changes seem to have improved the players in those positions.

Now here's how we got on firstly the league and well.....

 

We go and lift the trophy first time of asking with a nice 7 point gap on Chelsea who were our closest competitors for the whole season.  But an amazing season scoring a healthy amount of goals however conceding more than I would have liked.

We didn't cope well in the Cups loosing out in the 3rd round of the Capital one cup to Newcastle (and anyone wo has followed this thread from the start knows they are my nemesis team no matter who I play as) and a shock 1-0 loss to hull in the 3rd round of the FA Cup

Here's our full season fixture list

 

A bad run in Jan-Feb and a double loss to Newcastle in Oct but also some good results beating all the big clubs at least once (4-2 against United as a personal highlight)

Now starting the season I needed to improve my transfer budget and as always sold most of my LB/RB's which helped me grab one good palyer and I chose

Alenxandre Pato as he is a versatile player and ideal for the formation and grabbed Ocampos on loan and Barbosa who played poorly and then got injured for 3 months so I ended his loan early on.

Here's my out bound players (mostly my LB/RB's)

Here's how the team got on 

A big surprise with Scott Sinclair who killed it in the IF position most games and Ayew coming through as my star striker

And we manage a few awards too

Sinclair coming 2nd in the player of the year and I manage the manager of the year award

Not bad only 6 losses but obviously played a lot less games than most

So very impressed and now a few more bucks in the transfer budget and a big need to improve my Midfield so onto season 2 and hope we can improve on last season

OK second season at Villa and we had an up and down season so here we are

my transfers were important this year as the team needed strength across most areas 

Brought in Xhaka and Meli to give my midfield a much needed boost, Narsingh to help my RW Wallace in CD and Donnaramu as a young prospect in GK also managed to get Origi on loan

Few unused and unwanted player out the door

So having won the league in my first season I was hoping for a repeat performance...

Sadly loosing our final game of the season against Chelsea meant a runner up slot this year (1 point a shame)

However we did do a lot better in the cups this year

Winning all domestic cups and making it all the way to the Semi Finals of the Champions Cup 

Here's how my players got on this year

Ayew and Origi were a great striking combo and Sinclair and Grealish as my two IF's aslo produced the goods and my assists coming from my ADP Gill and Pato

Here's my full season fixture list

Some big wins and some dissapionting losses however here are a few of my favourite fixtures from the year

18-1 over three games against three of the biggest clubs in the league

Some end of season awards to add as well

Ayew deservedly winning the player of the year and Origi and Grealish 1st and 2nd in the young player of the year as well as another manager of the year award for myself

So can we make season three even better

I have the same problem mate my tactic nearly always does the big teams but against the worse teams it's always a struggle even if I win it seems we scrape it.

I think the problem is the smaller sides tend to play very defensive football any way then scrape a couple of goals the other end

Our third season and what a season

More big spending this year with a very good transfer budget we went big

Over £100M spent and Mahrez and Quaison were great buys, Roberts was a good Loan deal but suffered a major injury in March so I ended his loan early

Pato the only big name going out, he wasn't really performing consistently for me and Bayern offered £20M I took it

Now onto our season and we did fantastically well

We win our second league title in three years thanks to a win against Man City in the final game of the year, and as for the cups well...

We go to town and win everything (Villa as European Champs GET IN)

Ayew again was a great threat up front but come the end of the season I moved Quaison from AP to AF and he scored in most games in that position 

and finally some end of season awards 

We get 1st and second in the POTY award 2nd in YPOTY and I claim another MOTY award

So going into my fourth season and I want it all adding the Euro Super Cup and World Club Championship to my tally

I swapped Gil and Quaison and Niang got swapped in to but this is my usual starting XI it's a mirror of the tactic now with the IF on the Right

Just for fun, I started a game as Man Utd with Sugar Daddy on. Started off brilliantly, but from November onwards (now in February) I'm drawing and losing almost every match, despite having a good solid team. I just wonder if I'm doing something wrong!
