Help To sell? Or not to sell? The £70 million question

Superhuman stats! From another planet?...

The big man, Robin Jonssen... Ibra's regen. Off the back of a 35 goal campaign, there was always going to be interest from bigger teams...

Real Madrid came calling;

£70million is a lot of money, and I think that's as far as they'll go, yet I need him, and I don't need to sell him. How could I replace him?!

This is the hardest decision I've faced on this year's game, any guidance from you guys would be immensely appreciated.

That is a tough one, do you have Ronaldo's evogen? Messi in 2019 would be nearly retiring. Lower the Sell on Percentage down and ask for £80m. You could probably buy a few players who are great for that but then you lose out on one of the best players in the game. Depends how bad you need new players.

Who else do you have as Striker? Quite a few good regens would have appeared by now. Also how many strikers you need in the formation you are using? 

Also Rooney regen, Messi regen and Ronaldo regen probably coming soon. I'd say sell if you have more than enough backup now, but don't if you have to wait to sign more good strikers (you could get another deal for Robin in the future)

I personally wouldn't sell unless I had no money and desperately needed to buy players. As you don't need to sell then don't sell. I'm sure you could sell him next season for similar or even money if he keeps doing well.

 I have one incredible regen striker , who happened to be one of the random history-less Africans on the free agents! 

I have two older strikers, one is now something of a club legend (Kramer), and suits a similar role to Jonssen, the other can't really play poacher (Walter), he's my backup for Rostand (the African AF). My final striking option is a fairly average 24 year old (Castro). He's had a couple of decent 15-20 goal seasons but nothing great. 

My current formation requires 2 strikers.

Rooney just signed a contract for 3 years with Bournemouth, so his regen won't be available just yet.

Ronaldo is manager of BMG, but his regen is worth 39 million,and is being courted by both manchester sides. Not sure of my chances. Messi is still in the game and won the world player of the year just recently, so I'm not sure if he'll be retiring just yet.

I need a left back and could do with a better attacking mid, a new keeper would be nice. But I could probably achieve that with a £15 million budget and some loans here and there.

I think I'll keep him ?

- I've really enjoyed talking about my save and this is the first time I've really been motivated to keep playing past about 3 seasons ?? Perhaps I'll share some more of the Real Sporting story with you guys in the future...

I would say given current situation probably keep him. Kramer is a good Poacher and the other one can fill the role but until Messi's comes along I think you will severely be lacking and could probably get some good players with the funds you have or sell off a striker you hardly play like Kramer.

By the way he is wasted as a Poacher, should be a Complete Forward.

Ironically I did use him as a Complete Forward or a target man before Rostand came along, but the Rostand and Jonssen parternship has encouraged me to go with ADF and Poacher.

I effectively rejected the offer (I asked for £100 million). In the almost impossible event that they accept... Well I'll have to change the title...

Go dig up all those African free agent regens! I got 3 talented forwards for free (one I sold to Manchester City for 32m).

The games riddled with so many talented forwards. I still actually have Ibra's regen as my first choice striker, but he regen-ed really young. Also have a young English striker who I think is Rooney's regen. Sold Embolo for 93m to Manchester City, Totti's regen for 97m to Real Madrid.

In December there was a bug where players retired at around 32 years old.

Annoyingly I accidentally deleted this save... Will never forgive myself ??? I kept Johnson anyway, he actually had a nice other offer put in for him a few years later (£100million) but I rejected it anyway. If I hadn't deleted the save I would probably would've sold him as he neared the 30 mark though, as I had a very good Italian regen coming through.
