845 million transfer

Hi all, long term lurker first time poster here. Was wondering if anyone else was getting crazy transfer fees?

Playing as Liverpool using the Enhanced Engine - first time using it so picked a relatively big club to see how it works. I sold Jordan Ibe to Leverkusen in the first season as he did not take to Intensive Training.

Ibe didn't settle well in Germany and shortly after the beginning of the second season Schmidt put him on the transfer market for £845 million.

Anyone else come across anything like this? I'm going to assume it's a bug footballers are getting over priced alright but we're still a long way away from billion pound players.

I think it is a poor way of displaying the club don't want to sell. It is just confusing, especially at these prices. We should be able to bid the prices they offer or tell us outright he isn't for sale.

i had the same thing on fmh15, except they wanted 908m for lallana

What, the , frick. The most ive ever payed for a player was Messi (150 Million) ive never seen anything like this, this is jokes.

I used to to think that but why wouldn't it just say 

'Ibe requests transfer but Leverkusen reject the request'

After all there is the option to say no built into the game.

The 'English tax' must be getting coded into the game

Was also my first thought, but as billy2shots says why not just refuse? It's not as if the AI cares whether it's players are happy or not clicking on any team at random will show a handful of that squads players with exclaimation points/poor morale, many of them starting eleven in good form.

For instance, Ibe here is going to spend the rest of his season  wanting a move, not getting one but still starting regularly.

It always happens to players at liverpool at the start aswell was always sterling mostly last year
