Help How does scrapbook work?

I only seem to add players to my scrapbook but I really don't know how it works or how I can get use of it to help my team

You need to start a new Myclub career then you can add them into the squad you create.

Do they appear at the state you scrapped them ? 
Like age, statistics and so on ?

Yes.

So let's say you scrapped paul pogba at 28, he will appear as a 28 yr old with fresh history

Well so, to be sure, if I take a reaaaaally big team.
I buy a lot of promising wonderkids and scrapbook them right away.
Then if I create myclub I can start with all these guys ? oO !!

It's nice, but kinda cheat ^^
