Help Lack of Steel in Midfield

Hi guys just looking for some advice.

I'm currently in the middle of testing a new tactic which is going pretty well, however my end of game reports usually have something negative to say and the most common is "Lack of Steel In Midfield"

Now i'm playing a 442 attacking formation which lines up as follows

__________GK__________

FB____LD_____CD____FB

_______AP_____BBM_____

W_____________________IF

______TM________P______

Balanced, Mixed, Mixed, Mixed, Normal Pressing  On all others Off

Any ideas on how to improve the steel, should i change the player roles maybe a CM and BWM duo or something else?

You can also change your AP by a BWM.
Then you'll have two players trying to get the ball and a strong midfield.

Be aware that your two MC have to have good stamina. Else they will not be able to last the whole game.

Let us know :)

But then there is a massive lack of passing ability in the defence AND midfield.

Cheers for the advice guys, but since I've been running the game a bit longer the AP/BBM combination seems to be doing very well, i still occasionally get the "lack of steel in midfield" notice but only on the rare occasion.

I've run a season with Arsenal, Swansea and am currently running with Hoffenhiem, i want to do one more season in either France or Spain and then I'm going to post the tactic.

But again thanks very much for your help and advice
