1. Play two Trq strikers up front?

2. APM behind Trq?

3. 2 BWM in Centre Midfield?

4. 3 InF in attacking midfield right, left and centre?

Just trying to create a formation. I have one but I usually use the role depending on the player stats and not on the formation.

1) You will have no one in the centre up front

2) The treq will run to the wings from the balls played

3) There may be a lack of passing out of your midfield and you may see lots of cards

4) You will play very narrow and overload up front. It is likely this will see players get in each other's way

All of these are assuming that is all you are playing in that area. So 1 could work with a Poscher in the middle.

By the way all of these aren't in the same formation.

So what if the APM was behind the 2 Trq? And if I make the APM the Primary Outlet?

I'm trying to make a new formation for my first career here.

Oh... Ok because I've tested this and the APM seem to get some goals and both Trq seem to play well together.

So what would be happening in this setup? Some advice will be very helpful. (Primary Outlet AMC, Primary Attacker one of the strikers)

APM's often do well from distance but with no threat above them due to them moving to the wings you will find you will have lots and lots of shots that don't do anything. I would say put an INF where the APM is if you want two Trqs.

I was actually thinking about that but I thought it'd crowd the box. If you're saying that Trq goes to the wing then wouldn't there be too many out wide? How do the wingers fit in?

That is the point, The wingers are deep and Trq will drift. They may not be on the touchline but but they will not be where you want them to be - in goalscoring position. You are best to play one PCR as the primary attacker.

So I should only change the APM with InF and one of the Trq to Pcr? Or do I do one or the other?

Ok, I'm just trying to get an attacking formation but keep it solid at the back. If I made a LD into BPD then would the BWM cover?

Yes he should be with the amount of gaps in your midfield I wouldn't advise it.

What if I pulled a striker back next to the InF, making him an APM? Would keeping Trq up top means that the InF would be the main attacker? And if I make him a Pcr?

Well at the moment I have Rooney and Berardi playing up front with both Trq and Schweinsteiger behind them playing APM. Sold Mata and used the money to get Hazard because I wanted him to play InF behind the strikers but at the moment it's like this:

Berardi P - 10 G - 8 A - 5

Rooney P - 10 G - 8 A - 4

Schweinsteiger P - 7 G - 4 A - 3 (last 3 games he's been coming off the bench with 2  assists and a goal compared to Hazard's 2 goals in 3 in that position)

Some reason the APM is playing well being the Primary Outlet. Previous save I had Herrera in that position with similar outcome...

Does it vary with which match engine is used?
