Help Calling up club players to national side

I'm managing PSG and France at the same time. However if I want to call up my own players, I can't. The menu options for the player show only options for the club manager and not for the national side manager. Am I missing something?

Maybe you don't have any space in your national side

Maybe the nation team is not open for call up now.

You could still remove/add players before then

No. You only can remove player from national team when call-up window is closed.

But before you submit your squad you can add/remove players, only after you submit your squad you can't change it

It was during call up, I had only 20 players in a potential 26 player squad  I quit PSG and then the call up button changes position.....annoying

Maybe because you edited a players stat. I edited a shadow players PA in FMH14 and I was unable to call him up to the national side. Check the Save Editor and the players you're trying to call up. The nationality must have changed to something else.
