It doesnt look like he holidayed as it seems he can still offer him a contract through that news item. If he holidayed that wouldn't be an option.

No holiday. I tested to see what would happen if I confirm the transfer and it went through. Also I tried buying a player for the end of the season and I got a message that the transfer could be completed now... ?

I think it's a bug, I tried signing him and loan him back but he won't get loaned back. Tried signing players for the end of season but it gets completed in this window... First time it's happened to me
