Tactics The most effective 2 man forward roles for Man city?

I've been toying around with a 442 for city, got Aguero, bony and Higuian in my team but I can't seem to find the right roles upfront to get them scoring. In fact They're hardly scoring. I had Aguero as an advanced forward and Higuian or bony as a poacher. But doesn't seem to work.

just wondered has anyone managed to find an effective role pairing to utilise the forwards?

depends on rest of the roles as well.. you just can't put a forward there and expect him to score goals if the rest of the team isn't working to feed him the ball or give him the chance to score.

Yeah that makes sense. I'm using an inside forward on one wing and a winger on the other. Got a dlp and bbm in the middle
