Has anyone noticed that when negotiating with a single club over a transfer fee that, once they have included a 25% sell-on clause in their offer, they will pull out of the deal if you ask for any more money?

 

I have tested this out a number of times and always the same.

I have never noticed this but I will bear it in mind next time I'm trying to sell someone.

Yep - its a sure indication that they have made their final offer.

Their final offer doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. Like their first offer could be final, but no sell-on.

But if I negotiate any offer, even if it's slightly lower than their final offer, the 25% pops up. Bug?

Can't say I've ever paid enough attention to notice. 

The game has always had give aways for things to come though. At one point on the OME you could always tell if you'd score the chance or not as the GK dot bounced or something.
