Tactics Tactics Problems or CPU cheat ?

Hi everyone,

 

I try this new update and I'm very frustrated about long term tactics. I use a classic 4-5-1 or 3-5-2 with Winger / IF and it works really well. 

 

But really well for 2 or 3 years. Then, all opponent use the same tactics against me, a 4-5-1 with 5 midfielders in line and a TM alone. The strange thing is that CPU even use player at wrong places to use this counter tactic. And it works well against me, taking 2 or 3 goals per match. With a 5 or 6 defeats, I usually be sacked and then my tactic work again (with the new team) for 2 or 3 years.

 

Another strange thing, even if I loose each match, my players perform well above 7.5. 

 

Is it an intended functionality ? is anyone see the same scheme ?

I haven't noticed anything like that although sometimes the CPU start with the same formation I use but after like 10 minutes they switch to a 4-4-2.

My only problem is that my tactic doesn't take a season before it stops working

Clubs will eventually find out your weakness and actively try to exploit it.

Shouldn't it take at least a season?

Not always but there is a 442 bug.

I think so. I find a parade

I'm using a 4-5-1 with a both flanks passing style and a Poacher. 

It scores like hell

Clubs can change or play a 442 quite often even though players aren't suited to that or it is early in the game.

I don't think it help a lot. I found that tactics are really situationnal.

 

They depend your championship, your players and how CPU plays against you. 

I don't have screenshot but usually I play with 

           SK

FB - CD - LD - FB

   AP - CM  - AP

IF                  - IF

           P

 

with passing style both flanks.

1. It is a game. SI do not want you win all the matches even you got top 11 in the world.

2. Of couse, AI will "cheat". AI teams have more fexible for role behaviors. For example, corner kick. AI team have more arrangement of player positions.

3. You need adjust your tactics even it worked for you one or two season. Because SI want to make game more challenges.
