Help Players sold display bug?

OK, so I'm probably one of the few crazy people that even hit such numbers.

But after hitting 2.14B, the "players sold" stat no longer increases. Like selling a player for 50m should bring me up to 2.19B, but it just remains at 2.14B. Any ideas why? Or it is a display bug?

Maybe because you broke the limit? Or the game itself?

But selling players shouldn't break the game. I mean it's just displaying the number.

If it's 9.99B when it breaks, I might understand cause maybe digit limits. But 2.14B?

Because the data in game is binary system, not decimal system.

The game probably gave up trying to add it all up!

As rseven is correct you will see this in other games and generally if you go above then the number would become a negative

This won't be changed at present as there are good technical reasons for not doing so.

The game uses a 4 byte integer to store the player sold stat. The max value a 4 byte integer can store is "2,147,483,647", therefore, the 2.14B.
