Help Players with Low Stamina

I am in my second season with Celtic and have signed Ryan Gauld and Richairo Zivkovic.

But they both had 9 stamina when I signed and now Gauld has 6 and Zivkovic has 8. 

They can't even play the first half of a game without needing taken off.

 

What can I do?

Put them on a fitness regime to get it up and slowly add in attacking gradually as the stamina stat goes up
