Any tasty games you'll be looking forward to? Spain and Italy looks tidy and England against Germany is also a huge game!

Predictions for that opening game between France and Sweden then guys? What are you saying? Zlatan to down Les Bleus???

Can't wait for this. Looks great and unique but I think that the results won't be realistic due to the fact some older players (like Zlatan) drop CA throughout the season and won't light up the tournament like they might in real life

Yeah hopefully it shouldn't make an impact

France and Sweden both played out wins in their final warm up matches before the tournament

France hit Iceland for 5 as Griezmann helps himself to a brace as the Iceland players get lost in Frozen section!

The Swedes came from a goal down to beat South American side Peru with Zlatan bagging the winner five minutes from time!

Following a comfortable 0-3 win for Wales over The US, in their final warm up game, Gareth Bale has stated he feels this plucky side can go all the way in Euro 2016

"Why not, we have spirit, determination, togetherness that no other team in France right now can match, so we'll go into every game knowing we have a chance"

England's Starting Eleven for Saturday afternoons Euro 2016 opener has been apparently leaked after a fan at a training session photographed Roy Hodgson's notes which included an 'Eleven' from the squad

Screenshot_2016-06-10-08-21-49.jpg.45764

Smalling seems to be set to start at Right Back with Cahill and Stones as the Centre Backs along side Luke Shaw who slots in at Left Back

Eric Dier, of Tottenham Hotspur, will be a holding anchorman with Henderson and, possibly the biggest shock of all, Theo Walcott in at Central Midfield!

Captain Rooney will be the main man up top after an impressive season with Manchester United, with Berahino and Sterling being the wing support to Wayne.

Does this look like a team that is capable of winning a major tournament? We're not so sure…

Haha no way of checking roles I don't think

France vs. Sweden is only a few hours now guys! I'm getting rather excited!

I'll be at work at the time of the kick off so I'll post the result at Full Time as a match report kind of thing

France 5-1 Sweden

France gave their fans a treat for the Opening game of the European Championship with a glistening performance in Paris.

23 seconds into the game Paul Pogba lashed home after a Dimitri Payet shot hit the post during a flying start from France.

Anthony Martial then scored two inside 2 minutes both close range finishes after terrible Swedish defending and the French were 3-0 up after just 7 minutes and Sweden couldn't stop even more goals as another Pogba strike on 11 minutes made it 4-0

Pogba completed his hat trick on 33 minutes with a thunderbolt from range with the goalkeeper stranded and could just look on as it sailed past into the top corner.

Johan Elmander grabbed a consolation 6 minutes from time, much to the annoyance of Hugo Lloris, but the comeback was never on.

POGBA DISPLAY LIGHTS UP EURO 2016

The world was shocked by that performance from the French but onto today's games and looking ahead to 2pm for  the second game of Group A between Ukraine and Wales.

Gareth Bale and Co have been looking relaxed and seem confident going into this one but the pundits firmly believe a Ukraine win is more likely with Yarmalenko and Konoplyanka down the wings terrorising opposition full backs.

Aaron Ramsey faces a fitness test while Gareth Bale has been passed fit by the team doctors.

As for Ukraine they will have a fully fit squad to choose from with no injury concerns.

Ukraine 2-1 Wales

Wales couldn't get off to the perfect start as they are humbled by a well drilled Ukraine side who led 2-0 after Zozulya and Yarmalenko goals gave them the impetus to win the game.

Aaron Ramsey got a goal back just before Half Time but no comeback was to be.

England 5-0 Denmark

In a game that England could have scored 15 only 5 goals were scored in a disappointing game for England.

Harry Kane only scored 3 goals and the fans turned on him after a missed chance early in the second half.

The Arsenal duo Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain get goals aswell to finish off Denmark.

Germany 4-0 Turkey

Smashing win for Germany over Turkey means England level at the top with the Germans.

Bosnia & H 0-4 Belgium

Yet another one sided game at these European Championships ends in a big win for much fancied Belgium battered Bosnia 4-0 in Paris.

It took the Belgians 38 minutes to open the scoring but after the Half Time break they ran riot with 3 more goals in 7 minutes to finish the game as a contest.

Romania play Greece later on elsewhere in the group.

3 second half goals from Nani, Ronaldo, and Pereira finish the game off comfortably.

Finland 0-2 Croatia

It was a harsh ending to a battling defensive display from Finland, but Real Madrid midfielder Kovacic got the crucial opener after a goalkeeping error allowed him to take advantage and tap home after a Mandzukic shot was spilt straight to him.

A Srna free kick doubled the lead 2 minutes later and ended any hope of a Finland comeback.

Holland 1-0 Russia

Arjen Robben scored the only goal with a fantastic solo effort that bamboozled the Russian defence and finally unlocked them after a very tight affair.

Both managers will look back on missed chances and feel they deserved at least a point but it was the Dutch who got that crucial goal to win those crucial 3 points.

Bulgaria 0-1 Poland

How Bulgaria failed to score has baffled pundits all over Europe today as they somehow lost by a single Krychowiak strike on 50 minutes after Tralka of Poland was sent off after just 15 minutes of play.

Bulgaria bombarded the Polish goal but fantastic defence and incredible bad luck stopped them getting the ball in the net.

Screenshot_2016-06-14-08-54-14.png.f5bd3

Spain 1-1 Italy

Alessandro Florenzi scored a crazy goal from 45 yards cancelling out a Santi Cazorla goal for Spain.

Cazorla latched onto a through ball from Iniesta and finished nicely to put Spain in front but the incredible goal from Florenzi who saw De Gea off his line went for the spectacular and it paid off as it flew over the Manchester United goalkeeper and into the unguarded net.

MATCHDAY 2

Euro 2016 Group A

Screenshot_2016-06-16-05-46-12.png.a3266

Sweden 0-2 Ukraine

Disaster for the Swedes as they lose again after defeat in the first game against France and as a result have to rely on a possible 3rd place route into the knockout stages

Andriy Yarmalenko does the damage for Ukraine again, two good finishes towards the end of the game proved too much for Sweden.

The Swedes had chances but failed to take them with Ibrahimovic mis firing leading to him being SUBBED OFF with half an hour remaining.

Screenshot_2016-06-16-05-46-16.png.b28f3

Wales 0-1 France

Heartbreaking for Wales losing this one to a sole Koscielny header from a Payet delivery which means Wales are now relying on a 3rd place finish to get a place into the next round of the tournament after an unlucky first venture into the European Championships, but I'm sure we'll see them again if it does end in disappointment.

One more game for them to enjoy though against Sweden and I'm sure they will do just that.

Euro 2016 Group BScreenshot_2016-06-16-05-46-19.png.eb3b4

Denmark 5-1 Germany

WOW!!

What a crazy result! Denmark go goal mad against the Germans as they smashed 5 past them.

After they had 5 put past them by England they then go and do that to Germany.

Lord Bendtner scored twice with Eriksen bagging a hat trick including 2 free kicks on the edge of the area.

Turkey 0-1 England

England have put themselves in a great position to finish top of the group after a one goal victory over Turkey.

An early Harry Kane header settled the tie in the 11th minute and England held on to that one goal lead for the rest of the game to get the three points.

Slovakia 0-1 Portugal

Second win of these Euros for Portugal with Ronaldo getting the only goal of the game.

Hubocan got himself into hot water after an altercation with Nani which ended with the red card being shown but the game wasnt far from the end at the time.

Republic of Ireland 3-3 Switzerland

Ireland needed a result after being smashed by Portugal in the first game and went 3-0 up against a poor Swiss side, but unbelievably Switzerland turned in the style and got back into the game with 2 quick goals on the 60th and 63rd minutes to give the game life.

They completed the comeback with a strike on the 90th minute through left back Reto Ziegler.

At the Full Time whistle Irish players lay on the floor in horror as they let slip the 3 goal lead!

Croatia 4-3 Holland

What. A. Match! Croatia end up winning this game 4-3 but it could have been so different.

Croatia went into a 4-1 lead and Holland responded by having a right go them and nearly coming back from the dead and securing an unlikely draw but fell short as they only managed 2 goals.

Russia 3-0 Finland

Routine for Russia as they went into half time 3-0 up and held that advantage right up until the end.
