Solid going mate your last 3 seasons have been epic, I've got a guy on 600 but he's 30 so no chance of hitting 1k. Are u still using the 4321 with wingers primary attacker like we discussed.

Cheers guys I'm very impressed this season I switched tactic this season to a 4231 and it's been smashing it Akpom's a bit hit and miss but I'm in Feb and I've won every game bar 1 draw in the champions cup groups

Have a bash and let me know what you think I messed around with the player role up front but ADF seems to work best

Tactic looks good mate although I have to say I've had more success with poacher maybe I've not tried adf for long enough. Thing is I switched a few things up such as trying counter attack and removing Bbm and my poacher started  scoring insanely but my team and results suffered as my midfield was to passive.

See this one has my CM as my second highest goal scorer. I think ADF and PCR might work it's just Akpom who's hit and miss but we'll see when the season finishes

Fantastic job mate! That sort of a return in England is a hell of an achievement.

I think he is only valued at £5.5m because he only has 6 months left on contract.  Be interesting to see his valuation upon signing a new one.

Taffs 1K Attempt

Season 9

So another season and another chance for Akpom to smash it (hopefully)

I switched tactics this year after the opener against City to see if this would help Akpom get back up to 70ish goals

Here it is (same as previous post)

So only real change is moving one of my CM players to an AM postilion and changed the FB's to WB's and used a BPD instead of two CD and changed the passing to short

Transfers

So our ins and out this year was going to stay easy (a few free releases, but then I had a few players moan about play time so they went and a few who got old fast "Gibbs" and needed to replace a few who were on their way out once their contract ended.

So we sold Araujo and Oztunali as they weren't happy about play time the rest were youth graduates who I got rid of

We brought in Molina On loan to back up the CD, Gil as a new backup keeper as Szczesny is on the way out next season, Sam Morgan as backup AP and Wachter as a new LB to replace the ageing Gibbs

League

Absolutely demolished the league this year 

30 points between us and second and we won all but 3 games and only conceded 13 goals 

Cups

A few more trophies to add to the cabinet 

We start off with a close win over City in the Community shield 

Another close game but a win and the Euro Supercup is ours 

We smash our way to claim the World Club Championship

We beat Liverpool to lift the Capital one cup

Liverpool get there revenge beating us in the FA Cup final

Akpom on form and a hatrick helps seal a great win and claim the Champions Cup

Fixtures

Here's our full fixture list and look at all the green

We manage to win all but 6 games drawing 3 and loosing 3 but what a season (Man City must hate our guts this year) more green than a Hulk family reuinion

Season Awards

And another clean sweep of the awards with Akpom claiming another WPOTY and POTY with my young PCR/AP Rooney claiming the top spot in the YPOTY and I grab myself another MOTY because well I'm AWSOME lol

Chuba Akpom

Well did this new tactic work as planned 

I don't believe it three season on the bounce with 62 goals, He starts so well then has a dry patch through Dec-Feb then starts to pick up again but still some solid numbers in the EPL

Player Stats

I've added the player stats this year so people can see how the tactic did all around

As you can see everyone from my AP's to my W's and the CM's all getting in on the goals and the assists too

So there we have it (if I could change his shirt number it would be 62 i think) 

another good season and the tactic worked great just have to keep pushing.

Taffs 1K Attempt

Season 10

So here we are guys sorry it's been a while been working on three other saves and such but we're back and now into our 10th season and although Akpom is no where near the 1000 goal target I'm still proud of my boys.

So this year I altered my tactic slightly to try and improve Akpoms tally

Not a huge difference just switched the RW for an IF and changed the mentality to Attacking (wait till you see what this meant for our season)

So first things first the elusive England job, which might have got me a few more goals had I been in charge but then this happened right at the beginning of the season and my hopes for the job faded away

So England win the Euro's and that leaves the job V. Secure for the time being (I'll keep my fingers crossed that they go on a terrible run but unlike the real England these guys are doing well)

Transfers

Little disappointed this year that two of my main players wanted "New Challenges" so we got rid asap then went and got some replacements

So my big spend this year were to replace my aging FB's with Scholz (LB) and Valentin (RB) then we grabbed Marchetti and Silva to strengthen my now weakened midfield and Mullen as a backup RB, Ricci was brought in as a emergency backup CD

So I had Goretzka and Chambers who wanted new Challenges so Chambers went to Reading and Goretzka was used as part of a deal for Silva from Man City, Gutuierez and Horta were not being used so they went and Mings was not happy about being left out so he went as well 

League

So with some new players and a slightly altered tactic the league awaits....

And what a season won all but two which we drew and we went on a 31 game winning streak before drawing to Chelsea but what a season for the team (and before anyone jumps at me I didn't reload just had a steller season, believe it or not I don't care)

Cups

We had a good season in the cup competitions as well

An Akpom double seals victory in the Community Shield against Liverpool

An absolute BS game where their only shot of the game gives Inter the Win in the Euro Supercup

Another double from Akpom seals a tight win over River in the Club World Championship

We beat Man City to win the Capital one Cup 

Another sore loss in the FA Cup final (12 shots on target to their 2)

The boys come through with a good team win over Inter in the Champions Cup Final getting revenge for the Supercup loss earlier in the season

Also had a great Q.final against City

10-5 on agg what a result and what a couple of games

Fixtures

Here's our season fixture list and as I said what a season 

What a season an early loss to Inter in the Euro Supercup, then a loss to Gelsenkirchen in the Champion cup group stage a draw to AS Monaco in the Champions Cup first round a draw to Chelsea and Man U in the League and a loss to Tottenham in the FA Cup final so three draws and three loses and winning everything else and the team just scorched it this year

Season Awards

And as you'd expect after such a great season we clean up the awards 

Akpom and Stones claiming 1st and 2nd in the WPOTY, Akpom and Wijnaldum cliaming the 2 spots in the POTY, my young AP's claiming the YPOTY spots and I grab my 10th MOTY award 

Chuba Akpom

So with the team preforming so well did it help Akpom get back on track (in hindsight I should have gotten the whole teams stats)

Sadly another dip in numbers for Akpom this season only managing 55 goals but still a decent amount but it's very clear now that the 1000 mark is not going to be reached but let's push on and see where we get to.

Cheers dude, I'm starting to feel the insanity now but still having a blast with it, it's just a shame about the England job because that could give me a good boost but will just have to wait

To be honest I was happy when they got to like 25 never thought they could get that far without drawing/loosing a game, I took a screen shot of the table after every game just waiting for it to happen

Yeah still going it's just been on the back burner while I did my Wrexham career, but will get back to it soon

Just tried using my Attacking 442 in this challenge and I think it went well in it's trial run

8-1 and 4 goals for Akpom, I think I'll stick with this and see how we go

Wow he really is on fire 11 in 3 is some going, interesting you tried a 442 mate but could be the way to go.
