My pleasure! ? Setting up the team now. You must forgive me, I'm a little slow as I'm still a little new. As I test your tactic, I also like testing players, see how they fit roles etc.

Well we finished the season and what a season for the Saints

Here's how we did

League

A very close affair between us, Man U and Chelsea but in the end 

The Saints are Premier League Champions scoring plenty of goals on the way

Cups

We also had a fantastic season in the cup competitions

We were knocked out of the Capital one Cup in the Quarter finals by Man City who along with Norwich were the bogie teams this season.

But everything else was dandy 

Forgot to screen shot the game but we came from 3-1 down at half time to win the game 4-3 thanks to a double from Rodriguez and Long

 

And a Mane hat-trick saw us lift the Euro Cup after a great Semi-final saw us come back from 2-0 in the first leg to win the second leg 4-1 against Tottenham 

Fixtures

Here's our full season fixture list and as previously stated there were some great results 5-2 against Liverpool and 6-1 against Arsenal but some bad results to especially towards the back end of the season that saw losses to Norwich (second of the season), Watford and West Brom but it worked out in the end

 Player Stats

Here's how the team got on this year

Mane, Austin and Rodriguez all stepping with the goals and assists (not often you see the the top three goal scorers also topping the assists as well) but the whole team played very well (181 goals not including the loan players)

Season Awards

Here are a few end of season awards to with Mane coming second in the WPOTY and first in the POTY and Austin coming runner up and I grab a MOTY award for good measure

So a big thanks to @Mikee1984 for the tactic and It's awesome fella truly great and they have given me a big £78M budget for next season, but I was going to have some fun and use sugar daddy and create a World class starting 11 and use the original players as backups but with £78M to splash might just leave that idea alone and sort the squad out and push for more honers next season (after I finish another couple of seasons with my other challenges)

Not sure need strength in the defence and LW but I want to go big maybe just make 2-3 solid signings

 Can't say I noticed but they all tend to switch to the 442 counter after the first 10-20 minutes

Season 2

Another great season for the high flying saints 

Transfers

With our whopping £78M budget we went all out in the transfer market

We brought In Gabriel Barbosa to be our new star AF (I've tried using him in the past to little success lets hope he doesn't let me down) Marc Barta from Barcelona to bring a bit of class to my defence, Vrsaljko who has become a regular signing for me for his ability to play both RB and LB, Zaha to act as a backup to Mane and he worked well when I've used him before, Ruli on a free was a great piece of bunisess and Sara from Bocca as Forster was not happy being demoted to number 2 so Sara came in for £1M to act as my second choice.  Brandt came in to be my new LW, Dembele was a good all around backup midfielder and then in the January transfer market I bought Larsson (Zlat's evogen) because...well why not

Going out were a few unwanted or unused players, Junami, Martina, Yoshida and Davis were gone before the season began and Tadic and Ramirez at the end of the season

League

So onto the league and after a close affair last year I was hoping for a more convincing season

and they didn't disappoint winning the league with 5 games to go and with a healthy 15 point gap between us and United and just shy of 100 goals for the season

Cups

Now our cup campaign didn't get off to the best start

Loosing to Chelsea in the season opener 

But then...

The Saints go on and beat Real Madrid thanks to a Mane extra time winner

We squeak past Man U in the Capital one cup final 

Two early goals sees off Liverpool in the FA cup final

And yet another first half double sees us lift the Champions cup away from Chelsea (revenge for the Community shield)

Fixtures

Here's our season fixture list but I just want to share a few of my favourites with you first

Our Bogie team from last season Norwich had a bit of a shock this year

Then Liverpool were not expecting this in our Capital one cup semi final second leg

But the best of all I think was this absolute drubbing of AC Milan in the Champions Cup Semi Final 

First Leg

Wow what a result for the Lowly Saints but wait..

Second Leg

BANG!!!!! 12-1 over two legs eat that

Now I've calmed down here's the full list

We struggled early on with a few too many draws and Barbosa struggling to find his feet but then what a season with only one loss (2-4 to Arsenal, who I went onto beat 4-1 in the return leg)

Player Stats

Here's how the team did this year

Mane once again the king of both goals and assists Austin and Rodriguez having another great year and Barbosa found his feet in the end (and the back of the net 31 times)

Season Awards

Finally we claim some well deserved end of season awards

Mane and Rodriguez claiming 1st and 2nd in the POTY with Barbosa claiming the YPOTY and another MOTY award for myself

So there you go absolute belter of a season well done @Mikee1984 great tactic

Hey all so another test here with this tactic and this time I'm using burton Albion, so with the board telling me I should be battling against relegation I decided no I'm gunna win this league. Brave yes but the extra money was invaluable and really helped. Forgot to screenshot transfers but can tell u I brought in 2 speedy wingers Anthony Jeffrey from forest green and James loveridge from port talbot for a combined 46k, and also Alex purver of Leeds and lyle Taylor from afc Wimbledon for 300k combined. And all 4 contributed greatly as you'll see.

So after the first season with burton going so well I decided I'd test this out in the championship see how we go. Decided to tell the board I'd be winning the league again for them much needed transfer funds, but is back to back promotions to much to ask. Let's find out. so there you have it back to back promotions for little burton and a championship medal as well, very happy with this now bring on the prem.

I'm still going strong with At.Madrid. Must apologize for taking so long, but haven't got that much playtime recently. The universe does not cooparate when some down-time is needed...? Hopefully this weekend I can get some "me time"( try telling people I'm out of town, or something...?)?

so whats the most effective version of the tactic? got Middlesbrough promoted by 15 points with the original version and came 10th in 2nd season after promotion to prem. the tactic faded in the second half of the season. I was 4th at Christmas and only 5 pts off top of the prem! started 3rd season and it has just not worked at all? is it better with CDs and FBs rather than what is in the original?

I'd have to say the fb CB combination is the best one to use mate it's so much more reliable defensively in my opinion, and it's what I've been using with my most recent test team burton.

Okay thanks a lot mate, will try. Have to say, this is the best and most consistent tactic on the site that i have used. It has worked almost perfectly for all teams i have managed. Can't thank you enough, lots of fun.
