First of all I dont know if this is the right section for this topic.. but if it isn't I apologize.

So here it is. I've started a career with Udinese in Serie A. I was doing awful at the beginning cause I couldn't find the best tactic for the team.. then I found the best tactic for the team and everyone played well. In the end I arrived 2nd in the season

But what surprised me is how my players were valued at the end of the season! Here are some:

Lucas Evangelista sold for 25mil to chelsea because he wanted to be part of a big team.

And:

Bruno Fernandes sold to Chelsea again for nearly 50mil!!

The whole game has a very crazy value system . I have only played with lower league clubs not big ones (like challenge of promotion/low budgets)but still see the fluctuations from say $70k player can be worth $2-3m overnite it seems and I also have had it go the opposite way as a player putting in goals and in form will only be worth $250k yet has 8.0 form leads league in goals . 

I haven't figured out yet how it values players unless the valuation is based on knowing players hidden attributes as I look at what scout report, attributes page already have I green/blue and bunch of times it seems value is too low for some but way too high for others never really got a solid grasp and the jumps in price up or down are not gradual or small . 

Its killer in the lower leagues as you can find a youngster for a steal and go from $50k into millions and you are set for profits but also had it week before transfer deadline had 26 yr old tearing up league II and turned down offers year before for him at a lot lower price , ready to sell for about $3m as I had a younger player need playing time and perfect age to sell him at highest value . Then boom week later no reason I could see form was still consistent , didn't get injured , still had 4/5 Ca/pa scout report drop in value to $350k from $3m in a week .. I was so pissed sold him anyway for about $450-500k but big change

Players value is based on their reputation, the reputation of your club, reputation of your league and his performance

But it changes so often almost weekly or monthly and seems pretty short periods to go up or down. Club reputation you think would change but it would take a longer period , same with the players reputation as can't judge decent value on weekly or even month to month basis just too short of time need base it more on yearly performances so not a hot/cold month sink that top prospect or veterans price/value sink like a rock . Idk if you play big clubs but it's huge playing lower league clubs when you sign a player to have some idea that price won't drop out under you after only couple weeks or a month barely enough time to settle in and prices in my game seem to go up and down like Avery volatile stock market it feels like ,one week $500k doing solid then bad game or two and next week only worth $250k

I don't really know, I play both with small clubs and big clubs.. in my FC United save I'm in League 1 and I got 3 back to back promotions but some of my players including the highest goal scorer of my team in this three years is still valued a 2k (in euro) 

While in my A.C. Milan save I bought Time Warner for 19 million (still in euro) and in the first season he played like 11 games and had only 2 assist but he was valued at 14.5 million but in the next season he played 12 champions league game and scored 11 goals with 5 assist, in the cup he played 4 matches and scored 6 while he didn't do too well in the league scoring 13 in 25 and now he's valued at 31

My CB Zapata was valued at 2.5 then I taught of selling him because he was 30 so I started playing him regularly and his value raised to 4.5 so I offered him to clubs at that value and Roma and atletico both offered 5 and at the end I sold him at 6.5

So I think the more you play a player the more his value rises if he plays well and  but I don't seem to understand y my FC United striker is till valued at 2k after 3 years of success

Yeah i agree, the value system seems messed up, previous iterations of the game have not suffered like this one.

They stay low value despite getting player of the month or year awards and your club has no reputation despite going in to most games as favourites.
