Season 8

After last year's phenomenal goal haul I was hoping for at least 90 goals from our grey guy this year.

Transfers

Another year another set of promising get youngsters brought in. I believe Ibanez is Messi's regen too.

The Season

Sao Paulo State

Again we went undefeated in the league stage of the competition and went on to the playoffs getting through to the final and facing santos.

We managed to defeat them with 2 goals in the second leg to gain our first silverware of the year.

Recopa

Next up is the recopa where we played Flamengo.

As you can see we beat them on a 3-2 aggregate over the 2 legs. Second trophy of the year.

Copa Libertadores

Next up is the Copa Libertadores where we face continental opposition. We made it to the final to face CEC(?)

And we win the final thanks to an own goal. Lucky silverware 3.

Copa Sudamericana 

Our second continental competition of the year and we get through to the final to face Corinthians.

We take them down fairly easily with a 5-0 aggregate over the two legs to secure a 4th trophy.

Club World Cup

So now onto more worldly opposition in the club world cup. In the semis we easily swept Auckland city aside 8-0 to get to the final to face Italian giants Juventus.

We narrowly lost 2-1 in a competitive game. No shame though in losing to such a big team.

The League

So last but not least we have oureceived league performance. Could we defend our title and secure a quintuple?

Yes! Trophy 5 and we won the league with 5 games to go.

On top of this as Brazil manager we managed to win all 6 of our world cup qualifying games this year.

So after all is said and done how did our player do?

The Player

First off his attributes

This is really just a reminder as he has hit his peak attributes now I believe. But how was his year?

Well first off he got world player of the year again which I am very happy with.

So how did he do on the goal front?

Wow. I really didn't think he could improve on last Year but he picked up 107 goals for the club in 79 games. That's 13 more club goals than last year's stellar effort. Add his 6 international games and goals to that and his tally for the year is a fantastic 113 goals in 85 games. I'm so so impressed with this seasons accomishments from him.

Yeah same tactic. The players around him are tailored to him though. I have no wingers with crossing under 18 as starters and the wing backs have crossing over 15 too.

Season 9

Last season was beyondoing ridiculous for our player can he get over 100 club goals again?

Transfers

My Cristiano Ronaldo regen wouldn't sign a new contract so I sold him for 30 million and replaced him with Mr Sosa I also brought in Kimura who is a very promising young fullback who can play upboth flanks.

The Season

Sao Paulo State

We smashed the league stage winning every game and conceding only 4 goals.

An easy final win with 5-0 over both legs

Recopa

We win the recopa with a 2-1 aggregate

Copa Libertadores

We win another cup with a narrow win over Corinthians 

Copa Sudamericana 

We win the Copa Sudamericana 3-1 over two legs and get more silverware.

Club World Cup

Getting to the final we lost 1-0 to Chelsea so close but no shame in that loss.

The League

Another league title under our belts and almost hitting the 100 point mark. 

Internationals 

We win the confederations cup and most of our world cup qualifying games. Good stuff.

Overall I'm very happy with this year's trophy haul. Now onto our main man

The Player

His stats remain the same, impressive as always. So how was his season?

Another world player of the year award, always a good sign.  But how many goals did our man score?

Oh. My. Holy. God. 116 club goals even though he played one less club game this year. I was stunned with his form all season I just couldn't believe how much he scored. He even dropped in form for the last 10-15 games of the season scoring less frequently.

Add to this his international goal tally this year, as I'm still managing Brazil, of 17 goals in 13 games and our player scored an astounding 133 goals in 91 games. Stunning, there is surely no way he can keep this up.

Haha. I think that may be a little far. He's 26 now and not at 1000 goals yet. He has however gotten a lot closer if you see my new update ?

Season 10

One decade in let's see if our guy can score over 100 goals again.

Transfers

Again I go after young future stars in the transfer window.

The Season

Sao Paulo State

Again we win every league stage game and this time we don't Concede a single goal either.

We smash corinthians 4-1 on aggregate to claim the championship.

Recopa

We face Corinthians again and take them down 5-3 over two legs.

Copa Libertadores

We destroy Atletico Minero 6-1 in the final. Great result.

Copa Sudamericana 

We beat Gremio 3-1 on aggregate over the two legged final.

Club World Cup

A nice 2-0 victory over Porto makes a clean sweep of cups this year.

The League

We absolutely abuse the opposition in the league this year winning every game, scoring 105 goals, conceding only 8 and winning be 39 points. Ridiculous.

More ridiculous is that we were undefeated in all competitions this year and only drew 3 games in all. A dominant display as much of our team come into their  prime at the same time.

World Cup 

We made it to the final only to lose to Spain. No shame in that loss finishing the match with 10 men.  This was my only managerial loss this year.

The Player

So the team dominated all competitions. Let's see our player.

27 and in his prime his attributes reflect this.

Another world player of the year award for our man bit howany goals did he score this year.

There are no words to describe this goal tally. The stats speak for themselves. 141 club goals in 77 games. A 9.11 average match rating. I literally found myself shaking my head in disbelief as he hit hat-trick after hat-trick towards the end of the season. He also hit 8 world cup goals taking his tally to 149 in 84. Just.....WOW.  an amazing year for an amazing player. No topping this now for him, I am sure. Also we are only 26 goals off the 1k and I am taking him all the way to retirement.
