Why in FMM we can't sign a pre-contract with a player like in real world

@Alari I believe this got changed years ago to stop approaching from 6 months to 1.

Rules on this can be a bit tricky, but this is in the game! It's 1 month if the deal is between two English teams for example (as Dec said). If you find any cases where you think the game isn't doing this right, then please let us know.

The image says that he can sign a deal in January which is 6 months but the game is 1 month as mentioned. Should this be changed back?

I was busy all day so I could not reply. I remember that in FMH 13 or 14 I could sign pre-contract with a player in january, but now I need to wait july to do that. Whay is like this, when like in picture above we can see that english clubs can sign pre-contract with players even in january?

I think its 1 month only in England, when i manager in Italy 6 months work

Yes but this is between two English clubs. It used to be 6 months for all a few games ago.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but Hearts aren't an English club so the 1 month rule wouldn't apply.

No worries! Yes, we believe that the rules for pre-contract agreements are accurate (1 month for English-to-English, 6 for most others). But if anyone finds a case where it's wrong then please do let us know.
