I use the same technique with a french Team (2nd league). Just using "Balanced" and "Both flank" passing style.

I finish first of the season with only 3 players signed (with no contract).

Friendly bump!

I'm managing Burnley in the first season now. First season translates into "squad has yet to be improved thoroughly", but here they are, with strings of great result, credit goes to this tactic.

No reloading saves done, honest! I'm surprised, myself.

Notable Results - Comeback

The tactic is pretty much plug-and-play, suitable for those who lacked tactical nous, which is why I picked this tactic in the first place :D. But my mind opened up just recently, and if you fall by a goal or two, it is wise to do some tinkering with your tactic amidst of a match.

In these two matches, I:

- Dragged the midfield IF's to the forward.

- Pulled back one of the centre midfielders. Depending on the adversary weaker sides on the midfield, pull back either the left or right centre midfielder (They have one midfielder coloured red on the right wing, pull back the right centre midfielder, and vice versa). The pulled one are assigned to the role of either BBM (if facing BWM, CM, and DLP) or DLP (if facing BBM). The other retain/get the role of BWM.

- Mentality: Attacking.

- Passing style: Route One.

- Passing focus, once again depends on their midfielder proficiency in each sides. You know the drill.

- All refinements turned off.

Notable Results - Unexpected Wins

Hello @AndersJ, thanks for sharing. I find your tactic very helpful for my coventry save to rise from league one to EPL.

May I seek your advise. What alternative tactic can I use for my Club Brugge save in league matches? Cause the Pro League, they are considered the top dogs and not underdogs..so I thought this tactic might be useful in champions league only.:D

A bit late.. only just found this site, but I love this tactic. I used it with Liverpool (not an underdog) but it won me 1 of every trophy i've taken part in with a ECC and 2 league titles. It's such an overpowering attacking formation.. perfect for a team that has pace and finishing.
