Help Need explain about youth facilities

I guess i really need about how youth facilities work at team in FMM 17. Is this will train players at reserve team? Or will provide good youngster to the team? Or any idea. Anyone can explain it for me? Or any link have to explained that. Thanks

At the end of each season you will be presented with youths ready to graduate from the academy and you can choose to sign or release them. I'd imagine the better the youth facilities the more potential these guys will have.

So, it'll be work at the end of season only? Im thinking if we have better youth facilities, we will have good greyed out player (i play english lowest league division), so we dont need to do transfers. Then i make a litlle experiment at "my club" n choose different youth facilities, i only find some stats of greyed out players is no different

Since this will work at the end of season, so i think maybe evogen will come this way. But at random team.
