Help Recalling a player from loan?

This may seem stupid but how do I recall a player that is on loan?

It isn't the same as 2016

I'm pretty sure if a player is out on loan at the start of the game you cannot recall them, but not sure what happens after that.

On 2016 you could recall the player, you clicked on him and it said recall at the bottom

Just booted up the game to investigate. I can confirm that any player who is out on loan at the start of the game has their recall clause disabled by default. If a player is sent on loan by the user however, this depends on whether the clause was activated or not by the user in the loan offer screen. So it's just in the initial databse, presumably to stop the user doing recalls that make sense in game but not in real life, i.e. recalling Joe Hart to Manchester City, Bruno Peres to Torino or most loans in the Italian leagues for that matter

Nice thank you, just started playing the game and I was wanting to recall players to sell them but now I'll have to wait :( lol

It may seem odd to us FMM players that big players often go on loan when they could have been sold or even played an active part in a team, but in real life clubs are often paying large monthly/appearance based fees for that player (particularly in Italy). Sadly this option is not available in FMM, so we can't really replicate certain aspects of the loan market in the same way you can in the full fat FM.
