Help Retrain position works?

Is there anyone who successed to retrain the position for a player?

Yes I have In my Accrington Stanley career mode but it is WAY more difficult than last year.

I've only briefly touched it with no luck and people have told me it doesn't work. Also is there a way to cancel training? As I said I only briefly looked at it but u couldn't seem to stop a players training?

I doubt you can cancel it.

You mean cancel the retraining? From memory (don't have the game in front of me), you go back into the retraining section and the assistant will tell you that it's not going well and there is a link in the text of the message you can touch to cancel it. It says something like click here to stop retraining.

It does work, only achieved it twice though.

I sometimes tried it in fmm 16 and it worked for few players, maybe 2 out 15 I guess

Could you tell who are they?

They were players who came up through the youth system if I recall correctly

This needs a fix in my opinion.. Retraining is too difficult and reduces our tactical options..although it could be SI's goal is to force us to have more depth in the squad, but I would much prefer easier retraining to increase our level of control and fun.

I found it was normally youngsters who would be the easiest to re-train and once a few years ago in FMH14 or 15 I got a news message saying an older player, who was an AM/ST wanted to retrain in a defensive position, who, once his retraining was complete, he announced his retirement

Just done a quick bit of testing and had no luck whatsoever. Tried 6 different top flight clubs across Eng, Spain and Italy and had nothing other than "don't think he will be able to adapt" or "not willing to retrain". Tried every single player in each squad! Closest I came was a couple of 'very poor' comments under the competency heading but the actual retraining didn't work.
