Chat EFL CUP FIRST ROUND - Replays??

Hi guys...has the EFL cup started to have replays if matches are drawn? for some strange reason i had everton in the first round...won 5-4 on penalties....match showed up as 4-4 (becasue of penalty glitch) then for some strange reason had a replay a week later? am I missing something?? 

 

I feel as if the game wasn't tested before released and im playing a beta version...i was happy at first but as ive played the bugs have made it un playable...on previous versions i cant remember being this many bugs on the release. I am a fan of the game and always will be because it's fast and streamlined however feel slightly let down this year..

This happened to me in the EFL Cup Final against Liverpool - I posted screenshots in the 'FMM Funnies' topic.

Hotfix is out now so that should fix these types of issues

A hotfix has gone out that should fix the penalty issue. Let us know if you see anything similar occurring afterwards!

Bear in mind that huge sections of the game have had to be rewritten this year to accommodate competition changes, which meant that pretty much all areas of the game were affected by knock-ons. We fixed a vast majority of issues but some obviously slipped through the cracks. Moving forward though the competition-side of the game should be a lot more realistic with more accurate rules than ever before (as well as european coefficients, cup player stats etc).

A hot fix is basically a patch that comes out very quickly to fix major issues that need fixing before a 'normal' update. Mainly crashes.

Ahhh cool...another question...may seem stupid...once updated will these fixes work on current saves? or will i need to start a new game in order for them to take effect?

These changes should work in your current save I think.

Another stupid question, but do these updates go on automatically or do I need to do it manually?

You update it on your App Store/ Google Play Store as if you were to update another app.

My phone was updating FM last night so this was probably it. ☺️
