Chat Issues with disciplining players.

Now then,

The options on how to discipline players are greyed out for me, so I can't do it. Anyone else having this issue?

Which options in particular? Each option is only available if certain conditions are met.

Can I ask why this is?

The way it worked on older CM games was, as managers we have the right to decide when to criticise or praise a player. If you were critical unfairly it would result in the player and often teammates becoming unhappy. 

That seems a lot more 'realistic ' than what we have in the game at present.

I mean I understand why certain conditions must be met. But shouldn't I get to decide when I feel a negative criticism is necessary? A 7 five times in a row is something I would get upset for for a striker for example, regardless how other FMM players might think of it.

It's a game design decision that has been made, but we'll continue to look at feedback and thinking about it internally.

It almost seems like a player has to commit murder before the game will allow discipline. I, too, want to be the one who decides when discipline is necessary, and to be able to give the whole team the "hairdryer" treatment after really poor performances. I had one match last year that we lost 0-4, several players had 5 ratings and no player had better than a 6. Chew them out? Nope, game would not allow criticism of a single player. That's absurd.

The only times I have had the option this season is when a player was "being disruptive" in training.

You should be able to discipline players with a rating of 5. There is a known issue preventing you disciplining some players with ratings of 6, which should be possible, but isn't always at the moment due to a bug.
