Le Havre Athletic Club

 

 

LE Havre Athletic club is a French association football club based in Le Harve, Normandy. The club was founded as an athletics and rugby club in 1872. Le Harve plays in Ligue 2, the second of  French football and plays and paly it's home matches at the Stade Oceane. The club made it's football debut in France's first ever championship in 1899 and, on it's debut, became the first French club outside of Paris to  win the league. The club however has yet to win the current first division of the French football, Ligue 1 but has participated in the league 24 times, The last time being the 2008-2009 season. The club is also famous for it's notable youth investment program which develops and natures young talent with the vision of using them in the first team if they show enough promise. A vast amount of good young talent has gone to make an impact on the international level including:

Ryiad Mahrez

Benjamin Mendy

 

 

 

My challenge for myself is to take Le Havre Athletic Club back into the first division of France and also to develop and use youth players promoted from the academy and turn them into world-class stars, and to also turn LE Havre Athletic Club into a top 3 team in the Ligue 1 and probably some European Success along the way. Guys I really want you to know that I've finished season 1 from Friday and have been trying to post it and have been facing difficulties can anyone help me with this

Part 1

De Bourge arrives ready to take on the new task out ahead of him with Havre Athletic Club.

 Transfers 

With not much money given to spend a lot of our transfers coming in will most likely be free transfers and will have to be used wisely.

On the in we brought in a fair few players getting some noticeable ones as well players such as Ricardo Carvalho, Mitroslav Klose, and Charles N'Zogbia reunited back with his boyhood club. While on the out we saw two players moving on, Alex Mendy to AS Saint-Etienne for 1.8million was a bit of shocker for me. But those were the transactions that went on.

Tactis 

With the season just around the corner we needed a winning tactics because this is what makes or breaks your season and with no success with any of the tactics used in pre season I was getting a little worried we lost every friendly match not how was looking to go in to the season. So I decided to visit the vibe community where I picked this formation. Can't remember who it was but shout out to that person. Yes so with the new tactics and instructions set we venture off into the new season.

Cup

In our first season we participated in two different cups first was the Coupe de la ligue which we knocked out in the first round, pretty uninspiring as cup success was recommended by the board.

We also participated in the French cup with high expectations as we set our goals that we were going to make it all the way to the finals only to crash out in the eighth round by Tours FC in a game where we we're the better team but Tours took their chances.

The League 

So after crashing out of both cups early on gave us a small advantage because we were now able to focus on the league 

So after the first twenty games we sat at second in the table but with the league being so tight there were no room for mistakes. We then lost our next  2 matches causing us to get some unwanted attention 

So with how recent matches were going on I decided that may be a change in tactics and formation was needed to spice up the second half of the season 

Which lead to a new formation but we kept the same instructions so with this new system will we be able to get back to winning ways we would just have to see.

The change in formation was just the thing needed the Ai thought they had us only to be surprised with this tactic which they had no idea how to counter it and it sent us straight to the top of the table leading by a measly 1 point with the change of formation we lost only 1 match up to this point but that wasn't enough because Stade de Reims were right on our tails and with only five games will be able to hold onto the top of the league.

Yes we were able to hold on to the top as our title contenders began to slip off in the last 2 or 3 games which saw us win the league and get promoted into the top flight of France it took us near 17 years but finally it happened the board was please the fans were pleased the lads and I were pleased it was a moment to never forget for this team and their supporters.

League Top Performances 

The lads got on pretty well in the league Gimbert stepping up pretty big he played quite a important role in our campaign this season Fontaine and Koç as well 

Club Top Performers

 for the most part most players did very well with a few stand out performances by Ghislain Gimbert, Süleyman koç and Jean-Pascal Fontaine.
