Since you're smashing this 1kc you're probably smashing the "assist challenge" too. How many assists have your top providers "scored" by now? Or do you keep refreshing those legs behind Gomes?

What's the assist challenge? 

The team seem to share the assists really and there's some rotation on the flanks and midfield

Season 13

So after a hiatus from this save and a swift update me and Ze Gomes are back. This year and each from now on we look to solidify that top leaderboard spot as much as possible and aim for 1.5k

Brought in some more youth this year as the future providers for Mr Gomes.

As you've no doubt seen Ze had a great year passing the 1200 goal mark.

In one way I hope he retires at like 41. 

In another way I hope he retires soon after 1.5k as it'll be increasingly difficult after that

Yeah, I can tell you it's tough near the end. When Armstrong was getting 15 goals a season and the team was doing terrible because we kept playing him... They were bleak days....

Same here but this time, unlike any other time, I'd like to go with a worldclass striker and the best tactics I got to see how far I can reach into space. 12-1300 is doable. 1500..hmm I really need luck with injuries to reach that far.

I've just started one, thought why not, I'm not expecting to reach @kts365 dizzying heights (I think I'd get a nosebleed that far up) but another 1K is something I've fancied in a while and I thought why not, whats the worst that could happen

He scored 2020 goals at 35 years old. I never even took him to retirement. My biggest regret.

We begin to chase down that 1.5k target in earnest this year even with Ze Gomes beginning to age.

I couldn't see much need for signings this year I did however pick up a new midfielder and a new backup striker.

A fantastic dominant victory over Real Madrid.

A nice easy 3-0 cup final win.

2-0 gives us yet another cup win

Top of the group, 6 wins and only 1 goal conceded.

The Player

Gomes is beginning to get on a bit lets see how his attributes are holding up.

Still green in all the right places. His physical stats are impressive for a 33 year old. He did still get the usual awards and we cleared up the others too.

Now lets see how Ze Gomes did on the goal front this year.

72 goals in 56 games. He still has it but suffered a few missed games due to injury. Great year nonetheless.
