Chat Player Rating Glitch??

So, just started a new season - 2020. And I've noticed that when scouting players, and looking at my own players ratings, it's only showing current ability half a star and potential rating half a star. Scouting world class players yet it's telling me they aren't worth signing as they are only half a star!? What's going on?

Despite he have a gold scout, player's performance will be the most factor for deciding scout report. In my idea, the scout cant see player's attribute like our do. Yes we can saw his profile or his rep but the scout cant. Some times i got 5 stars ratings from my gold scout, but when i checked it on IGE, its not that much.

Scouts, and to a degree coaches, I've found are very inaccurate in judging players' current and potential ability.

I found that as I powered up my club, the ratings went down (ie players that were once a great option for my club were only average options once the club was better). I never got down to half star like you did, but 2.5 to 3 was the best anyone in the world got at one point (I've started to slip down, so the ratings have risen again).

Maybe it's something to do with that, although half star is extreme. Maybe your club's reputation is so high that no-one in the world is good enough for them.   Actually, is this a normal club, or have you edited the club at all?

One other thing I noticed is that despite having the best facilities and coaches, I never got anyone coming through from the academy. My guess is that the best young players in Scotland, weren't good enough to play for my club, because it's reputation was so high... Just guessing though...

Every single player has half a star. Messi, Neymar, literally everyone has half a star and I have gold scouts. They tell me that nobody is worth signing.

I boils my P*** when a scout comes back saying a player is not worth signing, especially when I have not instructed to look at players I have singled out...

When I set a scouting assignment I would prefer it if the reports that come back are for players they believe I should sign

See what I mean. Half a star yet his attributes are insane. Same with every player even if they are worth 100mil

The app doesn't show it needs to be updated. It's saying it's up to date. Will send a save over now

Thanks. You can check your version number by going to the credits->view->version and seeing what it says at the top.

It hasn't been updated since January. But there isn't an update in my app store. It's not just scouted players, it's every player that shows half a star. I have sent the save over

Sounds like your connection to the app store might not be stable. I'd try a different wifi connection to see if it shows up

I've checked the play store on 4G, and 2 different wifis. It says it's up to date with 8.1 haha
