How have people got the Sugar Daddy achievement e.g. what clubs, what trophies won, how many seasons?

You have to buy it from the store.

You don't have to buy it.

Win like 3-5 seasons I think and do really well.

You can also buy it though.

You have to have at least two very successful seasons. So if you're playing at Spurs and win every trophy at least twice that's possible it will do it. It will take three season from the start of your career,assuming you win the CL for the first time in your second season, because of the WCC. 

 

I don't know about how it works for lower league clubs since the don't have access to those trophies immediately.

How you earn SD is dependent on the reputation of the club you are managing - if you're managing a world class team you're expected to consistently win the most prestigious contintental and domestic honours. If you're managing a lower league team with mediocre reputation then winning trophies such as the FA Trophy & Checkatrade Cup consistently will earn you SD.

Pick Barcelona/Real Madrid/Bayern/Juventus. Load a PlugNPlay tactic. Stay 3-5 seasons in charge of the team.

It will be boring but you will unlock SD unless you fail hard as manager.

I`m not sure that promotion will get you SD.
