Chat Issue! - National vs Club

Hey all,

Is it just me - I've just noticed, that when i make any changes to my National team's formation, roles, tactics etc.. It mirrors it across to my club team and vice versa.

This is incredibly annoying. My national team is set up different to my club team as there are different players!! I wouldn't have thought it is supposed to be like that surely?!

I change my striker to a poacher for example on National or GK to a sweeper in my national, and it does it for my club team! No wonder my team plays rubbish after i've played some international games

Same here. It's annoying and cost me games/goals at times as I'm not constantly checking the tactics page.

I highly doubt it's intended to be this way. It's frustrating to get wasteful performances in for no reason. Hope this gets a fix soon.

Same for me, I took over Slovakia in my Latin Europe attempt and for 2 games, I was playing an inside forward without knowing so diouf weren't scoring

Glad to see it's not just me!! The formation stays the same, it doesn't mirror that, just the player roles

Just save the formation/selection for the two teams and do a quick load as appropriate.

This doesn't affect the player roles tho. Player roles are mirrored unless we enter the tactics page to sort it. But it can't be right that we need to sort this out for every single game. It a hassle and it doesn't make sense. I'm sure it wasn't intended that way and if it was it's a terrible idea. I hope SI look into this.

Cheers for the suggestion @veerus but like @BatiGoal said, it doesn't work for player roles, and i shouldn't have to go into the formation every single game and mess about.

It should save my national team and should save my club team so that i don't have to select different roles before every game. @Alari @Jack Joyce still waiting for some light to be shed here

I've never had a double job like this but player roles have always saved for me on a single team level. In fact, this year's version went a step further - if I switch into a given formation, it seems to default to the roles I previously used and not whatever the original default for that formation was.

Yes - On a club level - Game to game it saves - what i mean is, my formation on my national team is different to my club team, so i go to my national team, change formation, then change player roles on my national team. 

The formation stays the same on my club team but the player roles change. So then i have to go to my club team, change the player roles to what they should be, then when i play a national game, i have to change player roles all over again. Then i have to change the club team's player roles etc etc etc - get the picture?  annoying isn't it!

Not seeing this here to be honest. Do you have any reproduceable examples that you could send to us?

@Jack Joyce It's the same save that i sent you before. It happens constantly. I can screen record my phone and show you. Not sure why it's not happening for you.

Literally just gone to my national team, changed the inside forward to an AP and then go to my club team and it's changed it for me there.

The save i sent you was with the player rating issue - 1 star for all players. I can upload the video to youtube if its easier
