Mate this season i've decided to not have any Striker (poacher) No.9 in my formation ...i mean No9 less formation only wingers and wide forwards like lozano , Guedes.

•2 key players injured - One for 1year & another 3 months .

                      SEASON 2

Well after finishing an invincible season .. expectations are very high this season. Of 3 Objectives we completed 2 while Leauge title was bonus . We failed to win UCL but this season we will try to win it . 

New Objectives -

•Win UCL

•Sell All Striker & Play striker Less Formation 

•20 goals for  wide forwards (2 Main 1 Backup) 

       

                TRANSFER (In/Out)

We didn't received any offers for players & as squad was already balanced there was no need of any major transfer. A backup LB was required, so bought one . 

Major Transfer 

1) Andre Carrilo --> Lisbon (€24)

2.) Jimenez --> Valencia (€20

For new formation we needed extra midfielder. My target was Mario Lemina (BBM/DM) but transfer was not completed because be couldn't agree contract discussion , so i went for a loan player.. fortunately we got Jorginho from Barca.

By the end of first half of season season we were at top while in UCL we are drawn alongside Villarreal .

During group stage in UCL we finished 1st So i hope we get knockout round  draw easier than last season .

Meawhile I was offered Portugal National team job which i accepted.

Season 2 - part 2 

Transfer - No ××

By the end year we were leading the point table by 9 point & from beginning of new year be continued to do so . We completely dominated the leauge but we were not lucky im Taca De Portugal cup ...just like last season we were knocked out in 4th round .

In Portuguese leauge cup we continued our good performance and won it by defeating Porto in Final .

Premier Leauge - We won the Leauge just after 26 game similar to last season but goals scored this season were not as much as last season. Compared to last season we were not so dominating...like last we didn't scored much goals (only 65) .

Champions Leauge - 

after topping the group we were handed easy opponent in 1st Knockout round ( Galatasary) , who as expected lost (aggregate score 8-0).

In next round we managed to beat arsenal both home & away leg (aggr. score3-0)

In semifinal we beat PSG both home & away (aggr. Score 6-2)

Finally we secured CL by beating AS Roma in final by 4-2 . ??

Meanwhile i got so many job offers but just because i decided to stay here for 3-4 season i had to reject the good job offers .

WorldCup

Despite of been drawn in easy group & then winning it , Portugal was knockout out in 1st round only by USA on penalty shootout .

So i offered my resignation & the FA accepted it.

Gotta be Guedes. He's been instrumental and super consistent. He's no different in my save and fully deserves it. Bummer on the WC run but other than that great season.

Hope you get one of the EPL teams you're waiting for.

Season 3 -  A Dismal Season

Transfer -

Change im formation forced me bring and additional midfielder , mainly a playmaker to provide assists.

Leonardo pardo in as a replacement for andreas samaris.

From heading you can see whait i'm tryin to say , this season hasn't been what i expected it to be .

Leauge started pretty well with  uefa super cup win & supertaca de Portugal win. We played very well till the winter break and won almost every match either be the Leauge game or UCL game. New year started with emphatic Victory over Braga & what followed this match is very demoralizing... team started loosing unexpectedly against weak opponents. This led to drop in form as well as injury which determined our fate in UCL . We somehow won the round of 16 but Quarter-Final against barca proved too much .At this point team was struggling with series of injuries , dip in form (guedes went on several scoreless matches) & towards the end of season it became even worse ... although we won the league title but by just 2 point margin ( P.Ferreria being2nd placed team). The season was so unconvincing & things were becoming worse....it felt as if the Tactic,no matter what i use, AI counter each of them just after 2-3 matches. This poor finish to leauge title and getting knocked out of ucl made me decide that it is right time to leave & move on ...so i offered my Resignation...the board we surprised wanted me to stay .. but as i was convinced it's right time to leave so i confirmed my Resignation.....

•BallonD'or - Guedes high quality performance convinced me that he will win it but  By end of November his goal tally started drying ..

Eventually ThiagO Maia was named Ballon D'or winner for his impressive performance 

22 games - 3goals - 11 assist as BWM with avg rating of 8.4

Runner up was - Hirvig Lozano

Guedes is really a beast and so is Lozano...I'll try to bring 'em to my new club .

From here i'm thinking about picking one Regen & do a 1kc challenge..is it okay to do so .

Great read theres so much talent in Portugal leagues my team of choice is normally Sporting.

Come in late but the talent in the B team at Benfica made me not want to sign anyone in the 1st season. I cleared out a few and promoted within.

Could it perhaps be down to your subs who weren't quality enough to replace your starters. That's where the problem usually lies in the first couple of seasons, where there's too big a disparity in quality between starters and sub. So when you're hit by injuries/suspensions those subs struggle to keep up. Takes a few seasons to build that perfect squad with a quality sub bench.

@kylieboi88  In Benfica team there are too many talented players like Guedes , Zivkovic , luka jovic , Zé, alex Grimaldo, Andre Horta , Nuno santos , Diogo Conclaves , Talisca , Bryan Cristante & Lindelof .

Lisbon also have a few talents like Mattheus Pereira, Francisco Geraldes, Jonathan silva , carlos mane ,ryan glaud , pedro silva (gk) , Gelson Martin...

@BatiGoal Yeah that might be the case . It took me 3 season to build a squad around Lozano & Guedes .. upto some extent i used Thiago Maia as my Busquets , i prevent myself from spending money (Just like wenger) idk why this & this might be main reason for such difference b/w starter & subs.

 

Next hase of my career has already begun, Napoli offered me job , so i analysed the squad & accepted the job. 

Found a new you David villa regen at Atletico madrid & bought him for €6m (16yr old).

Looking forward to use him in my attempt to do 1kc goal challenge.

So guys I'm thinking of doing 1kc challenge....& i've two young regens but I'm in bit dilemma, im not sure whome i should consider as my man for 1kc.

I've already started using villa regen for 1lc ...he's consistent & has great start...just look at those stats

But the problem is that he just keep moaning about training regime. I kept him on every type of training but he just keep doing that .

I think what a lot of people do is offer players who are upset a new contract, it gets rid of the unhappiness, I have a lot of players moaning in my save, and it works for them! Give it a go and let me know if it works!
