Sorry for the delay guys have three separate saves to catch you up on so lets get cracking.

There isn't a lot to really tell you about for this save I have completed 2 more season's (season 4 and 5) with the team doing very well, but no higher score so here's the basics)

The one major move was to let Hughes go as the team were in some financial trouble (not sure who's fault it is but there you go) managed to bring in a decent striker and a very good AM player with the profits but more on that later

The League

Do you really need to ask

Spoiler

IMG_1681.thumb.PNG.ac8073ab968db46c64fe8fd92e9c3e1e.PNGIMG_1685.thumb.PNG.ee080fe5dba9b50a4b9253cda074317c.PNGIMG_1792.thumb.PNG.928b9c88f3967f99adc97c7554f880fb.PNG

We smashed the league for the 4th and 5th consecutive seasons

Europe

We managed to progress to both the Euro Cup group in season 4 and the UCL group stage in season 5.  Neither ended well

Spoiler

IMG_1678.thumb.PNG.8576378dc8fc610d44891ed71d736c81.PNG

We did ok in the Euro cup but still finished 3rd but a decent run saw us finish above Club Brugge

IMG_1782.thumb.PNG.5970d0f9552d296e5dac0b191edb6b50.PNG

We got smashed in the UCL group in season 5 managing to only score 3 goals (all of which came in the last game against Sevilla) but look at the group and it's little wonder we didn't do better

Manager Profile and Trophy Cabinet

Here's a shot of my manager profile (for both Cliftonville and Nigeria after 5 full season

Spoiler

IMG_1820.thumb.PNG.db9b50be2b70c5042c3510ebcda1017a.PNG

A decent looking page, a good transfer budget (although most of the players sold were not by choice but rather had the release clause so nothing I could do, but they got me some decent funds over the 5 seasons

IMG_1822.thumb.PNG.7b630632f6408d556b8f4c2bc0857c94.PNG

A very good haul over 5 seasons, 5 League Titles, 17 domestic cups and 2 ACON titles with Nigeria

Star Players

Here's just a few of the players (apart from Hughes) who really shined for me over the course of my time with Cliftonville

Spoiler

IMG_1805.thumb.PNG.2c6f4b886d66b851700fb8ebbf65ebd7.PNGIMG_1806.thumb.PNG.1285d8f8abb1cd808f0847354d9eba0e.PNG

Ben Kennedy was the AM I bought after the departure of Hughes and he was a great addition to the team, sometimes playing up front he could grab the goals or provide them, and I recommend anyone managing low down to try and pick him up

IMG_1807.thumb.PNG.164dc4863db86ac5f1397f85a614b394.PNG

(Forgot his stats) but he's been with me since the beginning and was a stand out player at RB, winning numerous POTM awards and constantly being courted by bigger clubs, but I held on tight as he was the heart if my defence

IMG_1808.thumb.PNG.2fdf8cd979f30b63c7c8856dce73ed2f.PNGIMG_1809.thumb.PNG.66bb4cd720d539fd32a9da6dd006e223.PNG

Another one who has been with me from the start, picked him up as a free agent when I joined the team and he has been at the heart of my midfield for the whole 5 seasons, my second best midfielder by far

IMG_1812.thumb.PNG.7e2671130bb89751403320ef2d415d1f.PNGIMG_1813.thumb.PNG.12c60e6b35fd5f1510eba15a36ce4fa0.PNG

This guy was my #1 midfielder, at the club from the start a solid DLP/BWM/BBM whatever you need, great with the free kicks or just battering the opposition just a true class act.

IMG_1810.thumb.PNG.065983f4947c5a7effe4907a2bebeb5a.PNGIMG_1811.thumb.PNG.e59141b9052035f8a43efc6b48591db3.PNG

The new striker I brought in to replace Hughes he quickly established himself in the team and was a great lone or striker partner whenever I needed him (did dry up a bit in his second season mind)

IMG_1816.thumb.PNG.29ae6d60ffad30a79daa36b3570aad8e.PNGIMG_1817.thumb.PNG.b1103b2278bbd53f3eeced2857faa647.PNG

Hughes and then Williams Strike partner McDaid has been a solid presence up front for us whenever I asked him to step up

IMG_1814.thumb.PNG.07819e2d08acabe04b3bef657e77d2e2.PNGIMG_1815.thumb.PNG.0cc8fd8216242ecfd967d696fec20a1b.PNG

Another free agent I picked up at the beginning of my time in N.I. Oyeleke was maybe a backup but whenever Harkin or Knowles needed a rest he stepped up big time

So as the new season started I decided to quit (resign) from both Cliftonville and Nigeria, and hope that the Scottish clubs would finally (after applying numerous times over the last two seasons) take me in

Spoiler

IMG_1823.thumb.PNG.c0a9de3e11c458ca24a96ec7a2bace69.PNG

They Finally did, Season 6 begins in Scotland (Hallelujah)

Good stuff Taff! Redshaw is a player I've had some success with, really good striker at his level!

cheers dude, he's managed to hit 35 but now gone 4 games without scoring but I'm sure he'll crack it, just would have liked a bigger tally before moving on

Season 6

Scotland (at last)

So as my previous posts have shown I've finally managed to land a job in the SPL

IMG_1823.thumb.PNG.c03dd9d8edba8b9f78a13ea42aef373e.PNG

So I'm here in Glasgow looking to nail the 36 goals required in the first season, the team isn't in too bad a shape, but I needed a stronger striker (thought about using Ben Kennedy who signed with Thistle before I joined so bonus), but in the end another lad caught my eye.

IMG_1889.thumb.PNG.ed85caa542b194bf5dbaa8e5e9e312cc.PNG

Jack Redshaw, bought from Wrexham for £230K he has some great stats but the main three I look for Dribbling, Shooting and Pace all in the greens, told me he could be my man

I then went and used my measly £2M transfer fee to bring in some other layers to help out the team

Spoiler

IMG_1907.thumb.PNG.c40ea6f8e57ee641a5eb60e960bd3caa.PNG

Chastre was brought in as my new first choice GK (my current option was 36 and had no green stats so needed replacing) Kouhyar was a decent midfield option, Mojta came in to sure up the defence and Denis and Torres came in to start on the wings

IMG_1908.thumb.PNG.37b8ff4edba5940466f07323787b53e9.PNG

Lindsey was my only sale, playing at CD I had other good options so chose to sell him on

So with the squad in place we set out to get the 36 goals needed (originally I let Kennedy and Redshaw fight it out to see who could do better, they both impressed but Redshaw was our main thread all season)

The joy of starting with Partick Thistle was they had to qualify for the Betfred cup, which gave us an early opportunity to get some extra goals in, and we ended up going all the way to the final with Redshaw and co playing their hearts out for the opportunity to face Celtic in the Final....

IMG_1892.thumb.PNG.1b12ca9bcb4f7a84a2d3b5392ae21e55.PNGIMG_1891.thumb.PNG.519b0ee37854a421f3ef111f75bd4b16.PNG

Where my two star players saw off Celtic to clinch the cup (we had a very good season when it came to Celtic)

The season went swimmingly (as my previous post shows we were top of the table by the new year and fought hard all season...

IMG_1899.thumb.PNG.9803aafa7edc2d7b613d4b83b7ad59cb.PNGIMG_1901.thumb.PNG.cbc9bac2775e464a579ce892adbacad5.PNG

and all the hard work paid off as Partick Thistle clinch the SPL crown with a good margin of victory and an amazing 22 point gap between us and Celtic

The team also managed a good run in the Scottish Cup getting to the Final to face Aberdeen....

IMG_1906.thumb.PNG.6a51a51cf60eaa8233e0143b282d17bf.PNGIMG_1905.thumb.PNG.19fa1c97d79108ce61d5acc894f0575f.PNG

Where Redshaw shows his true class netting 3 to clinch a fantastic domestic treble in my first season in charge

So how did our main man do this year, he's aiming for 36 or more to break the record

well as shown above he managed to net 23 in 25 by the new year

IMG_1894.thumb.PNG.bc7956f9ab6bd9918522506e72c72588.PNG

By late February he tied the record of 35

IMG_1895.thumb.PNG.516991a1ce79c17a88a313ba45371714.PNG

He then went on a bit of a dry run for 3/4 games but came back with a hat-trick to take the record

IMG_1897.thumb.PNG.acab5c24ae87ac8f66efc8e380cf2dae.PNG

Here's his stats at the end of the season and a rough idea of the type of form he was in

IMG_1911.thumb.PNG.ed887a59344ec03105fb31fe933d74f7.PNGIMG_1898.thumb.PNG.71e19ebc6c2edd340cca20f9ea3dbdab.PNG

Improvements to his dribbling and shooting and his stamina is up, he had some dry spells but netted more than once on most occasions.  But how did he finish the season?

IMG_1912.thumb.PNG.93434a578ed4499572a2fa8892a53a27.PNG

He finished with a decent 49 in 48, so I'm more than happy to leave it there and move on to Wales and Stage 3 if the right opportunity arises, if not I'll have another season with him and see if we can't do better

Here's the full season fixtures (check out the results with Celtic)

 Here's the team stats

Spoiler

IMG_1909.thumb.PNG.4b658dd1aadd0dc65a4b71da5618f04f.PNG

Kennedy also had a good season netting 29 goals, Azeez also surprised me, no real stats to speak of but came to life late in the season

IMG_1910.thumb.PNG.d38c5bdc036724181b76b39347fa781b.PNG

Denis bringing the assists from the LW, and Bannigan from CM

Finally some end of season awards to share

Spoiler

IMG_1902.thumb.PNG.ea43d8ae1465cea9dd6bc7beee627e9f.PNG

Redshaw and Kennedy taking the top spots in the POTY

IMG_1903.thumb.PNG.02e02316dc4ba9b76b6d5b06324bff10.PNG

And after a domestic treble winning season, I gladly take the MOTY award

But it's also nice to be recognised by the fans

IMG_1900.thumb.PNG.da6f7478a922fb861c4ec42b1bd0259c.PNG

Best manager they have ever had

So Stage 2 complete now onto the toughest test, 48 goals in the WPL

See you all on the flip side

Season 7

Wales

So after waiting all that time for the Scotland job, we got in and got out quick, I kept a close eye on the job market and come early September I got the opportunity to move on and carry on with the UK challenge

IMG_2020.thumb.PNG.ee111f0e93d4893f4a853cb2df5fa032.PNGIMG_2021.thumb.PNG.b8d81d9f034d8f148e0b16ad4c776ae5.PNG

So after checking the free agents and such there was only one striker who really stood out as having half a chance at getting the 48 goals needed to move on to the final stage

IMG_2022.thumb.PNG.cce0cfe9758c3f3cf3a457a37a116a51.PNG

Lewis Buckley, maybe not the most amazing stats, but for this league 15 shooting is huge, so I set off to conquer my homeland (Cymru am Byth) and try to get Buckley the to the magic 48 goals. (below is a screenshot just to show he hadn't scored before I took over)

Spoiler

IMG_2023.thumb.PNG.ebf17e4b9c77e8a0b02ac7439761994e.PNG

So I had a decent budget but needed most of that in wages (most of these players only have 1 year contracts and I'll need to hold on to most of them incase Buckley's not up to the task)

So here's the teams transfer dealings

Spoiler

IMG_2029.thumb.PNG.60d6d23f85148aa38de87ce38b6693f8.PNG

All free agents coming in to give the squad depth and decent first team options in Harper, Hynes and Royle

IMG_2030.thumb.PNG.077ea7c828df711499c9fbf63692d286.PNG

Lowe was sold before I joined and I couldn't really get rid of the rest as I wasn't sure who would work out

So with the team in place we set off to set the WPL on fire (dragon pun intended)

Spoiler

IMG_2024.thumb.PNG.324dfbf2499a0111049723aad421cf04.PNGIMG_2025.thumb.PNG.c8fdb77f27c2e26fe6a3f198322124ea.PNGIMG_2028.thumb.PNG.2c88f69769f5257de774ea583078feb0.PNG

We won the league with 7 games left to go, and ended the season 32 points clear of our nearest rivals and only losing 1 game all season

IMG_2027.thumb.PNG.1cb3ed0a812146a8b46eb55be72af6a3.PNGIMG_2026.thumb.PNG.54a45f7d8568e468414819b9352142a7.PNG

A Buckley brace helps the team to the JD Welsh Cup

So a very good first season in Wales clinching the league and the JD Cup, but now onto the important information, that being how did Buckley do

Here's his stats at the end of the year

IMG_2038.thumb.PNG.ccfc65257a5e3e75a4957ed432bcc0d5.PNG

His movement is the biggest improvement but all his stats have got better, but was it enough...

IMG_2039.thumb.PNG.ae7a75613007c4e3c05c469357348af8.PNG

NO, he did very well scoring 39 but that left us 9 short, but if I can't find a decent option next year, I'll give him another go

Here's the boring bits

Spoiler

See you guys soon

Used to go to Llandudno all the time as a kid, terrible seaside destination as full of old people and not much to do, just a pier and a hill IIRC lol. No idea why I felt the need to say that but oh well :P

Shame you didn't cross Wales off in one go but at least you've built a team that can dominate already. Next season hopefully your striker gets those extra goals or you find someone else suitable. KIU mate :)

Man he's got the Shooting and Movement going for him but the rest is shite. I would probably go with short passing and get this guy the ball in his feet. Tough stage indeed. Better luck next season.

Cheers Bati, honestly you don't find many greens this far down the football pecking order, but I'll see if I can find someone with a few more blues or just stick with Buckley for another season. Cheers for the tip about short passing, been a few tweeks here and there to get the best out of him, scores a hat trick then goes 2 games with nothing, getting annoying now all this tinkering every 5 minutes
