The Career of a Man Named Henry Essex

(1/7/16)

A complete unknown has been appointed the role of the manager of Chelsea Football Club. So far all we know is that he goes by the name of Henry and that he hails from Essex. No one knows how he may have landed a job so grand with absolutely no verifiable prior managerial experience, however, as far as rumors go, it may be due to nepotism.

In his first press conference, Mr Essex only uttered a few words: "My goal is to win the Premier League - " which was, much to the surprise of everyone in the room including Roman Abramovich, followed by, " - with every club I will face in the league, in upcoming season." When asked to clarify his statement he replied with an abrupt, "You'll see."

What we assume he meant was that he intends on winning the league, at least once, with every club he is going to compete against this season (?) This means that he would have to win the Premier League with Arsenal, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea (?), Crystal Palace, Everton, Hull City, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Stoke City, Sunderland, Swansea, Tottenham, Watford, West Bromwich Albion, and West Ham United. I say that is completely preposterous! He would not be able to do it even if he was given a million years!! I believe he should focus more on preventing 'getting the sack' rather than such ridiculous fantasies.

Hell talk about an uphill battle, looking forward to seeing this one unfold

as @Nick11 said to win the EPL 20 times in 30 years will require some amazing results and the fact that three of the teams you face this year could be relegated to never see the light of the premiership again means wasting time getting them up and winning the league

GOOD LUCK DUDE, YOUR GOING TO NEED IT

The challenge lies therein.

Brilliant! I suspect that you're up against it in the time allowed, but i'm rooting for you. Sunderland always drop like a stone so it might be a good idea to get them done sooner rather than later!
