Challenges Claudio Ranieri Challenge

Recommended Posts

Yes yes I know I posted one earlier, but this one is better ( I think)

Welcome to a challenge I have had planned for a while, but never got round to posting. After Claudio Ranieri's unexpected sacking earlier this year, I came up with this idea!

Note: As Ranieri didn't win many cups at all, I have adapted a few stages so it is harder ;)

Stage 1: You must take over a lower standard Seria A team. Using this team, you must:

Secure a 8th or higher placed finish ( Ranieri guided Cagliari to Seria A safety in his time there)

Win the Italian Cup

Stage 2: Either leave and join another Italian club, or remain at your current one. You must:

Secure a top 2 finish in the league

Win the Coppa Italia ( Achieved with Fiorentina in 1996)

Win the Italian Super Cup

Bonus: Go on a 15 match unbeaten run in the league

Reach Semi-Finals of a European Competition

Stage 3: Resign from your post and search for a club in Spain. With this club, you must:

Win the Copa Del Rey ( Achieved with Valencia in 1999)

Win the Liga BBVA

 Bonus:

Have full green bars in board confidence ( Ranieri was very popular in Spain)

Stage 5: Resign from your post and search for a club in England. With this club, you must:

Win the Premier Division

Win the FA Cup ( Ranieri reached the final with Chelsea in the 2002/03 season)

Decrease the average age of the squad ( one of Ranieri's objectives with Chelsea)

Reach a European Final

Achieve over 80 points in a season

Stage 6: Resign from your post and search for a club in Spain. With this club, you must:

Win the Champions League

Win the European Super Cup ( Ranieri achieved this with Valencia in the 2004/05 season)

Stage 7: Resign from your current post and search for a club in Italy. With this club, you must:

Win the Serie A twice

Win the Italian Cup ( Ranieri was beaten in the semi final by Lazio)

Win the Italian Super Cup

Reach the Champions League Final

Stage 8: Resign from your current post, and search for a club in France. With this club, you must:

Win Ligue 1 (Ranieri was a runner up with Monaco)

Win the French Cup

Bonus

Take control of a National team, and win a competition

Stage 9 (Final Stage) Resign from your current post, then search for a job in England. With your new club, you must:

Take control of a relegation threatened team

Win the Premier Division

Win BPL MOTY

Finished!

This is a long challenge, but will definitely be fun!

Rules

All standard challenge rules

have fun!

Please leave feedback/ a comment, and let me know if you are having a go! Cheers!

I'm done with long challenges for a while but would be interesting to see someone complete this. Moving clubs at least 6x will take some time but it isn't player-based so there's potentially the full 30 seasons in this one.

Btw you're missing stage 4.
