So I or Kean, however you want to put it was of by 6 goals to match the best scorer with 43 goals in season 56-57 lol

Here is one thing I do not understand in this game: even after 5-6 seasons when great teams with initially good squad have so so players with so so stats still kickass. And every time I play with them and I have starting 11 worth almost a £1.000.000.000 with very impressive stats and results throughout a season I still having problems... I don't know if it makes sence or not... Is it like hidden stats for teams or whatever?

Kean is amazing. In my Arsenal career he is quite underperforming! I'm curious to see if you can hit 70+

I know what you mean but I'm at that stage where I just play along without over-analyzing everything. It's more fun for me that way.. Altho it's not entirely unrealistic.. age, inconsistency, form, underachieving.. look around European leagues and you'll see both over- and underachievers every single season. It also keeps it fun not seeing always the usual suspects doing well season after season. Same goes for the teams we manage, would be terribly boring if we walk the league everytime.

The value of the squad is no guarantee for success. Glad it isn't

Strange thing I've noticed: a lot depends on which leagues you load. If you have Italy as first league, you'll get a 4.5 star PA. If Italy is an auxiliary league, he'll have 4 stars. Strange, isn't it?

He's not even the only one, saw it happen a few times, like with Thomas Buitink.

That has to do with the variable PA of -8 or -9 but still, it's peculiar that leagues loaded seem to have an effect.

                        SEASON 7

Strange things happening with my team. I thought I found a tactic which will take through everything with fewest tweaks throughout. But apparently I was mistaking. 

I can't say it was a bad season, no it was more of a little step back from previous "massive" season. 

Here is our hero

51 goals in 49 games not that bad. Only 11 assists is better, that means he is taking more chances to himself.  

And no surprises he won every personal award possible 

side note: Paul Pogba was a runner-up but he disappointed me as I bought him to replace my top assister Ziyech and sure I sold last one to Milan for £40 m. Even with all of his stats and coach reports him being a team player he did not provide as much as I expected him. 

17 assists along with 17 goals is a great result for AP who is playing not under forward but deeper in field. But in terms of this challenge. 

Another dissapointment is Marcus Rashford whos teamwork is great but he simply did not want to provide. 

Btw this season we only scored 132 goals compare to 198 and 167 last two seasons.

I mean this is pretty impressive, right?

and who would have thought that my First knock-out stage will end up being draws: 1-1 away which is not that bad... and 2-2 at home...

and btw I was leading home game 2-0...

it was as good as the end of this season, just for domestic cup though

And did forget to mention it last season update but we wont Club World Chamionship two years in a row now. 

                Review and performance

First half of the season was close to fabulous. Only 3 draws, 31 goals scored by Kean. But after that January brake it seemed like I'm managing whole different team. Almost tripled draws plus a loss (4-5 a crazy game). And only 20 goals from Moise. He had a 7 games no goal period. And it is not like he wasn't getting any chances to score, no, he would have 5-10 shot with at least half on target  he just wasn't getting it in. 

Speaking of Kean: even though he is so strong his arial is pretty low so he can't win many headers, about 1 or 2 out of 10

With new season coming up it looks like I will need to tweak my squad again and we shall see what is going to happen.

Great season despite the disappointing CL run. Couple seasons ago your boy was on 24 assists, it's 11 now which is much better. Unfortunately it hasn't resulted in a lot more goals, but it's an improvement. He's getting at that age where he will become a lot more consistent and hopefully more prolific as well.

Yeah I hope he'll get lots more goals this season. I've already started it and did some major team rebuilding.

He's still doing okay, still looking good to make it, but the drop in goals across the team is a little worrying. Time to tweak the tactic again! It can be tricky to get right.

The thing with Moise scoring less in the second half of the season has definitely happened to my strikers too. I've always put it down to them not being fresh. Sometimes giving them 2 or 3 games off recharges their batteries and they start scoring again, but it's really hard to leave them out. I've been pretty confident in that theory for a while now, UNTIL the current season I'm playing, where everything seems opposite to that! Goes to show you never really can tell... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As for teammates and assists.... Sometimes players are inconsistent - I had Coman go from like 17 assists to 37 assists the following season, with the same tactic. But most often they are sort of consistent and if they aren't working out, even if I invested a lot of money in them and they are world class, out they go and in comes the next candidate! When you find a good one, keep them forever! ?

That started out ridiculous. I mean just look at it  

a little slow down didn't bother me at all and I was rewarded for my faith in Keam

but what has happened next is out of my understanding

Even though these little slow downs don't bother me much I still wonder why every year after a winter month off it feels like I manage not my team with world class players but a bunch of amateurs who have no idea how play this game. And it is not only Kean but entire team go bad, and show twice less performance and result... 

Another thing is penalties. I won't stop talking about it. He is not only misses about 50% of it but also missed penalties in Dutch Cup final and CL final. Why?... I mean 23 yo with lots of goals in his career, he should have confidence and experience to do it right  

Well just look at this guy

56 goals is not bad you all would say. And it is not, 621 goals to go at least 10 more years in his career for sure. But!! This inconsistency is very frustrating.

My coach report says otherwise 

Team stats and goals just at the same level as it was last year

130 goals all together. I tried tweaking and tweaking and even more tweaking. Ended up with 3-4-3 with 2 wide DF and Kean as AF. But still not much results. I can win the game but just barely.

Quality season. I understand you may feel a little disappointed after such a rocking start but still good numbers.

Re the dip in form.. how good is your bench? If you have quality subs maybe try rotating your starters now and again.

I feel your pain dude, my players are always sluggish after the winter but they generally pick up, sometimes changing your tactic during Nov-Jan can have a positive impact but don't quote me on that

That's exactly what I thought... 51 in first season I hoped I'll make it like 1500 goals

                          SEASON 9

Welcome back everybody. It has been a very interested, unpredictable and sometimes frustrating jorney so far. 

This season was not much different from previous one. 

Kean is at that age when he is not progressing much in stats, he is just getting himself in a position of consistency I guess. Still consistently misses penalties for example.

but consistenly making it around 60

What I did like is that 3rd season in a row he only makes 11-12 assists which proves that he is a true Poacher. Another thing I have noticed: even though he is pretty strong physically he isn't winning much headers. I guess it has something to do with 11 Aerial   

Kean only played 50 games because I decided to rest him every 5 or so games (I've read it in @Taff comments)  He was more consistant and what I liked the most my team didn't go nuts in second half of the season. But it might be cause of changed tactic. After couple of experiments  I ended up with 2-2-2-2... weird isn't it? Here it is

It has an option to become 2-4-4

Dominated domestic competitions as always

starting season with Super cup and then winning league

still can't go untouchable, but only 1 loss this year

and here we go... penalties in Dutch Cup and Moise missed again... good thing I have a hell of a keeper. 

CL campaign was very interesting 

4 wins got me out of this not very hard group so I wasn't concerned about last two games and payed for it with losses.

Zenit St-Petersburg is technically my home team... or was before I moved overseas. First game away 0-1 but no chances left in home game and Kean's two

pribably because I played so many careers in EPL I never "afraid" of english teams but I lost in London and again home game saves me

4-2 in home game basically got me through Semi Final. Tight game away but we didn't park the bus after a red card and got a win with another two from Moise

A. Madrid is a 3 in a row Spanish League winner but surprisingly didn't put up much of a fight
