Help Retardation of star player performance

I am currently in real hispalis in 2022. I got aleksander mitrovic from newcastle and his first season he was the best striker in the la liga, but after that season seems he flopped.. This followed after the signing of Jonathan leko and mario carpela... Could my two signings have retard my striker? Please how do i get ny striker back to his former self?

Try playing Mitrovic as a Complete Forward (CF) he's got the greens for it. And if you want him to score more give him a winger on the flanks instead of two IFs. He's got good TM attributes so crosses from winger(s) would add an extra dimension to his game.

Altho 4 out of 12 isn't disaster yet..could be just an unlucky spell. Otherwise try the above and see what happens.

I have tried wingers too but it wasnt effective. I guess i have to be patient

Did you retrain Tielemans to become an accomplished AMR btw? he's not green in that spot from the start. He'd make a better IF from AML tho. Is Mitrovic the only underperforming player or are your two APs underperforming as well? That could be a factor too.

He hasn't been performing badly, I mean he's 8/12 for goals and assists. Maybe he's just having a slow start compared to his normal standards, which can happen to any footballer in real life
