THE PREMIER HONOUR CHALLENGE

So I've been browsing the forums recently looking for a fun save to finish FMM 17 with, and knowing my luck this challenge was posted about 3-5 days ago. I've decided to attempt this challenge as it is not about scoring goals but more about winning titles and being a successful manager. All rules of the challenge can be found below:

Anyway, I'll stop talking nonsense and I'll jump right into the save!

 

Season 1

 

The Team

Yes I have decided to go with Man United for a number of reasons that I will list for you:

1. They have a good amount of money which will allow me to improve the squad.
2. They have a lot of depth and also produce some good youngsters.
3. They are in the Europa League which will be a harder competition to win giving the fact you must throw away/purposely bottle a competition to get into it.
4. They easily have one of the best squads in England, meaning that it shouldn't be too hard to do at least a treble every season.
5. When Exiting United I will be able to gift my players and money over to my new team, just like people do when doing the Premier League Second Chance Challenge.

I spent pretty much everything I had and also used players in Player Exchanges that I knew I wouldn't use that much in this career. I also loaned out some Youth Prospects such as Pieter Caubergh who I bought mainly to sell for around 10 mil in the future, Josh Harrop and Angel Gomes

 

Community Sheild

An Easy win Against Leicester to pick up my first Trophy, 1 down 99 to go!

 

 

EFL Cup

Boom! 2 Trophies out of 2 Hopefully we can keep this up the whole season!

 

FA Cup

I did say the team was strong enough to win at least a treble but I was expecting it in the first season to be honest. 3 Out of 3!

 

Euro Cup

Oh my god... we've won the Euro Cup as well meaning we have won 4 out of 4 competitions! Can we make it 5 now is the real question?

 

English Premier League

Well then, we've won all 5 possible trophies in the first year and I am so happy about our accomplishments. Now we just have to keep it up and hopefully, we can win all 6 of our trophies next year.

You far blew away my two in the first season as Liverpool! I'm guessing you signed eden hazard or romelu Lukaku (one of my players currently) based off the hints. Keep it up

Haha, that season I had was an outstanding season and I doubt I'll do that again in the next 5/10 years.

WPOTY Update 1

I am going to start making these update to inform people of the World Player Of The Year as this happens mid-season. Expect one every season but I may forget to screen shot it in the future so don't quote me on that.

Just missing out is the young Anthony Martial but as he is only 22 he will definitely get this award in the near future. Apart from that Martial has been an excellent player for me and hopefully I can hold onto him.

Season 2

Transfers In

I spent a massive 95 million in this transfer window on two pretty good players, but I've probably overpaid looking back at this.

 

Transfers Out

I sold players that I knew weren't needed and also loaned out a lot of youngsters.

 

Community Sheild:

 We outplayed Chelsea the whole match but we were also rescued by a late Pogba goal.

 

Super Cup:

Basically, the same story as the Community Sheild, dominating the majority of the match but we only get to score one. Doesn't matter know though as that's our 7th trophy.

EFL Cup:

We knew this was going to happen this season and we have finally lost our first competition what was thankfully the EFL Cup. I believe that we should have won the game but oh well we've still got three more competitions.

 

FA Cup:

Thankfully we come back strong winning the FA Cup against a poor West Brom side. 3/4 trophies so far

 

Premier League:

 Unsuprisingly we won the league again with a total of 100 points, so I'm hoping we can keep it up for next year.

YES BOYS! 5 Trophies again and this time we won the big one grabbing out first champions league of the career.

Thanks mate, I should of probably addressed this in my actual post but I just can't get my strikers to score so my IFs are getting most of the goals, should hopefully fix it this season without breaking my tactic.

Yeah @PriZe mentioned the fact that the strikers seem to be struggling this year, I know Buitink is.  But the great thing about this is that it's a team challenge rather than an individual one so doesn't matter who scores as long as someone does

Awesome season, won loads of trophies! You are making great progress but remember, you are going to be in England for another 8 years unless you decide to join a foreign club so you better buckle in for a long ride

Jep strikers are having a hard time. It's due to the amount of shots they have. Just have a look a few matches and compare striker versus IF. The last will have more shots. I try to remedy this by giving the striker space. But still, nothing like OME. I think best i got was a striker to score 80 ish on EME. And that team only had superstars in it. On OME that would have been 100 goals defo. Hell i even got a 16 year old this year to score 70 on ome in his first season

Another reason for us to have the next CC on the OME, I'm quite curious to see what the engine is like and whether I can get my tactics working better there

Probably going to stay in England for they 8 years unless I get a chance to win a harder trophy.
