Hello guyz

i only want to play 41221 formation but i cant know the best player role for the striker!!

I play two wing Backs one ball playing defender one center defender one deep lying playmaker two advanced playmakers two inside Forwards

i think this is the best player roles for this Tactic for the above but here is my problem the STRIKER!! I tried evey single role !

When having two inside Forwards they do alote of shots and score alote of goals so using a poacher with them is wrong and when i used a deep lying forward the team struggled! The best role was complete Forward but the problem with this role is consistency!!!

and in fm 17 there is no False nine !!

so from your experience what is the best role for this Tactic!??

regards

An advanced forward works in any situation pretty well. Complete forwards are ideal lone strikers too. If you have a target man then that might be worth a go. Remember that in this system the aim of the striker is not to score, but to set up chances and make space for the inside forwards.

Switch one IF to winger and use a poacher or advanced forward and your set. Personally i like my main striker to score loads so i would go for poacher, primary attacker, on pens and freekicks. Get's me 60+ goals on both engines
