Help Removing Loan Restrictions Unlockable

I know unlocking Loan Restrictions is by having a loan player win an award.

In my current save I sold a player to Doncaster with an immediate loan back clause, within a month or two of being loaned back he won Vanarama National player of the month , which I thought was enough to get the unlockable.

The players history shows he signed for Doncaster with 0 played and the loan back added to his history...

Will I need to sign a player who is not currently on my playing staff to get said unlockable...

Can Loan  restrictions be unlocked by a player winning an award who  I send out on loan

Needs to be a player of the year award not month. 

The unlock able can be earn't by yourself loaning in a player and him winning a yearly award or by yourself loaning someone to the AI who wins the award.

I personally haven't done it via that method but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

To confirm the method I mentioned does in fact unlock the loan restriction achievement
