Career AzmiG26 Completes the Peter Hinds Challenge

Intro

Hi, welcome to my third career posted here. This time, I completed the Peter Hinds Challange by @samhardy

Let's see what can I bring to this old man in EPL!

The Club

Manchester City! This club has what all our man needs.Money, facilitate, and great staff.

Transfer

Sold and released some unused players, loan some too.

I thought that we need to improve our full backs, so we bought both Shaw and Henrichs.

 

Competition

EFL Cup

We met Arsenal in the final and beat them. I actually played Hinds in that match but (un)fortunately he's hit by a ghost injury.

FA Cup

Sunderland surprisingly made it to the final. But in the end, Aguero's late goal gave the trophy to us.

English Premier League

Champions! We topped our biggest rival by 9 points margin.

UEFA Champions League

Amazing! We got the quadruples this season, stunning Juventus on the UCL Final even with 10 players on the pitch.

Aguero is in a very great form this season as he became the WPOTY and POTY.

 

The Player

Before we bought him, our player looks like this

He used to had 3 attributes with blue colour, the others are just horrible to see.

Now, he looks like this

Still 3 blues, but 2 of the attributes have changed. Now, he has 11 in Aerial,10 in Shooting, and 11 in Technique which is kind of decent for his age.
He somehow changes his role to Poacher too.

How is his performance in EPL though?

Good numbers for his age, if you look at his stats.This is the most goals he scored ever in his life.

His scores in the club are only topped by Sergio Aguero, who of course is a far better player than him.

He also somehow made it to the top 10 EPL Top scorers! Beating people like Vardy and Deeney!

Goals: 14 Goals

Assists: 6 Assists

Average Rating: 7.49

Great effort. I'm not sure but it might have been Premier league goals that count only. Thats how i read the challenge anyway. Hopefully @samhardywill confirm either way.

I'm half way through this challenge myself and I can guarantee you have beaten the score I post by miles!?

Not bad for a grandpa.  I wonder if you could've done more if you realized it was league goals only and rested him for all the cup games.

I'm starting to get obsessed by these goal scoring challenges mainly because I'm terrible at them and I want to get better.

Can I ask did you use EME or OME? Also what were your tactics? I don't want to copy your tactics I'm just interested in what you did as I said I want to get better at these challenges

I use EME, for my tactics, it's just regular 4-4-2 Att./4-4-2 :

(yes I'm set Hinds to be the PA, but I think it doesn't really matter, and of course, I set him for taking penalty)

It does matter....  see my research here. 

Also, it's counter-intuitive in normal goal-scoring challenges but probably pretty smart here to have him alongside another superstar striker.  He was surely a beneficiary of being near Aguero in the box which is what he needed with his walker and/or wheelchair.

Thanks mate. Funnily enough we had the same thought that he couldn't play upfront on his own and I'm play 442 as well be with different instructions, different club and very different results.

Just past Christmas do hopefully be done in next day or so.

I'm currently doing this challenge at city too and have taken a somewhat different approach....

I found it really interesting that his leadership dropped from 14 to 5. Did you notice when that happened? Was is it a steady decline? Or was it immediately after joining Man City ("Oh sh%t! I can't tell these superstars what to do!")...

Thanks! He doesn't want to retire and he doesn't even want to be one of our coaches.

I found that's interesting too! It just immediately declined a lot after joining us.
