The Pokemon Regions Challenge

First of all, I’m always a big Pokémon fan, I buy the game, play the TCG and watch the anime. However, that’s not important, the thing is I want to make a challenge based on the regions of the Pokémon game. Don’t worry, you don’t need to play Pokémon if you want to do the challenge. I make the challenge for FMM 2018 as I don’t see most people can complete the challenge before November, but of course, you can still try!

The idea is to have a great career with player somehow related to the regions. Simple, right? Or maybe not...

Preparation

·         To start with, load 3 leagues, any league, and France (don’t need to be the main league)

·         Play as any club you want that’s not in France or even Unemployed if you dare

First Stage: Kanto

Kanto is the first region of Pokémon, it’s based in a place which also named Kanto in Japan, so...

·         Buy  three or more Japanese player into your club (you don’t need need to replace all your team)

·         One of them must be a striker, one of them also must have the letter K in the first word of his first/last name. The striker and the K player can be the same

·         You can’t spend more than 30M in these players (you can still do it in other transfers)

·         At least three players you bought must play equal or more than 30 games in all competition

·         If one of them has a long-term injury (more than two weeks) it’s okay but you must provide screenshot of the injury

·         At least three players you bought must have average rating equal or more than 7.00 by the end of the every season

·         Your striker must score more than 15 goals and be the top goalscorer in the league by the end of every season

·         Once you win every possible domestic trophy, you can move on to the next stage

Second Stage: Johto and Hoenn

Johto and Hoenn, the region of second and third generation respectively. They’re based in Japan too. It’s similar to the first stage but of course, there’ll be differences.

·         You must move from your club to a different league before the end of summer transfer windows and if not you can continue the first stage until another season

·         Once you moved, you can’t come back to the league you left

·         Buy  three or more Japanese player into your club (still, you don’t need need to replace all your team)

·         You can’t spend more than 30M in these players (you can still do it in other transfers)

·         At least three players you bought must play equal or more than 30 games in all competition

·         If one of them has a long-term injury (more than two weeks) it’s okay but you must provide screenshot of the injury

·         One of them must be a striker and one player must have the letter H in the first word of his first/last name and one must have the letter J but can be any letter of his name. The striker must be one of the J or H player.

·         At least three players have equal or more than 7.25 average rating by the end of every season

·         The striker needs to score more than 25 league goals and be the league top scorer by the end of every season

·         One of the Japanese players must gain a POTY in your league and you must get the MOTY at least once

·         Once you win all possible domestic trophy and one continental trophy you can move on to the next stage

Third Stage: Sinnoh and Unova

Sinnoh is the fourth region of the main Pokémon series and still based in Japan. Unova, however, is different, it’s based on a big city in USA, New York.

·         You must move from your club to a different league before the end of summer transfer windows and if not you can continue the stage until you can get a new job

·         Once you moved, you can’t come back to the league you left

·         Buy two strikers, one must be a Japanese player with the letter S in the first word of his first/last name. The next one if possible has to be bought from any New York-based club. If it’s not, buy an American striker.

·         These two signings can’t worth more than 30M (you can still do other transfers)

·         These two must play more than 70 matches combined by the end of every season except one of them gets a long-term injury

·         These two must have an average rating equal or more than 7.50 by the end of every season

·         These two must score more than 50 goals combined by the end of every season and one of them need to be the top scorer of the league

·         One of the players have to get the POTY and you have to get the MOTY at least twice

·         Once you win all possible domestic and continental trophies, you can move the fourth stage

Last Stage: Kalos and Alola

Kalos is a beautiful region based in France. Though it’s considered to be the easiest of all generations, I’m sure it’s not here. Alola, however, is more tropical and natural as it’s based in Hawaii, USA.

·         You need to get a move to Paris Saint Germain and if you can’t, stay in the third stage

·         Sign a Japanese player that's either 16, 26 or 36 years old to the club

·         If possible, sign an American player whose first name is one of:

Tim, Brian, Andrew, Brock, Duke, Shandon, Morgan, Kupono, Stephen, Jamel, Daniel, Zach, Kei, Kenji, David or Bobby.
And his last name is one of:

Wood, Vaudreil, Treschuk, Tomozawa, Scott, Mitchell, Low, Langley, Hopeau, Hashimoto, Granger, Dykstra, Ching, or Bartro.

If not, sign an American player whose his first/last name is either of the above

·         They must play more than 35 matches and gets more average rating than 7.24

·         Gets a French striker who is either a Paris FC graduate or PSG graduate. He needs to score more than 35 goals and be the league top scorer by the end of every season

·         Meanwhile there’s no money limitation, you can’t buy players from the league in
Brazil, Argentina, Spain, England, Germany, and Italy. You can’t also buy player whose nationality is from these countries

·         Win all the possible domestic trophy, UCL and USL trophy, and CWC trophy at least twice

If you completed all this, congratulations! You have completed the challenge, an amazing achievement and you should be proud of yourself!

What, you want more? Okay, here’s a bonus stage

Bonus Stage

·         At any point in the fourth stage, get the France national job

·         Pick your Paris striker to the national team

·         And, you have to call 6 different people to the national team. They need to have the first letter of their first/last name with these letters: P, O, K, E, M, O, N at any order

·         Win all the possible trophy and make sure your main striker scored more than 25 international goals
