Chat Are downloads for FMM 18 being added to Vibe?

Or does the creation of fmmobile.net replace this? If so, does that render the perks of our gold accounts useless?

All downloads for FMM18 will be added over the coming days.  We are not affiliated with the other fmmobile site offering files. All premium memberships remain valid and will be receiving the same perks they have received for the last 2 years.

As usual, we will have logos and faces available on release day with other styles following shortly after. We are also aiming for monthly patch updates this year to the packs to limit the download sizes for everyone.

We have the license fix in the works - providing the file format has not changed, we hope to have that available on release day, yes.

It may be a premium-only file for 48-hours or so for testing purposes, however.

Based on previous years, the fix only takes effect in new careers.

I haven't seem anything to suggest it will be any different for FMM18, but that will depend on us testing it after release - we don't get the game any earlier than anyone else.

Usually you can just copy the changes.txt file from the old game to the new game to have most of the correct names while waiting for the updated version to be available on here.

Yeah, this is normally the best idea, and honestly is exactly how we would begin to test it and make any changes necessary.

I imagine the main thing in this year's changes.txt will be adding the correct names for each of the MLS franchises.

Isn't the MLS league fully licensed? I thought I saw that in the announcement. If so, then the names should be right already, shouldn't they?

Would be nice to have these downloads available prior to release so we can go ahead and download them. Is it feasible to have them one day in advance?

We will try to have them available Thursday evening, but it's likely shortly after release that the files will go live - I'll be staying up until everything is live.

We don't want to upload files which won't work in the game, which will mean you have to download things again, so we're trying to be careful this time around. As a site we've fallen into that trap before.
