If you feel that something is *really* wrong with the battery life (and this does sound like a bad example of it), I suggest posting on the official Sports Interactive forum in the bugs section so it can get investigated correctly: https://community.sigames.com/forum/298-football-manager-mobile-technical-help-and-bugs-forum/

:)

Thanks, i will report them :)

Battery Capacity is 5300 mAh..

If you want more hours then turn the flight mode on

Mine seemed to drain a little bit faster compared to FMM17. If for example playing FMM17 for 1 hour took 20% off my battery it's now between 20 and 25% with FMM18. (Samsung Galaxy S7)

We know the battery use is a bit higher on android than iOS but haven't seen any drain as big as the OPs. Obviously if you have more players loaded it will drain faster though, how many are you using?

My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus simply can't handle having 4 leagues loaded in a save. The battery just disappears, even when the app is idly open in the background. Losing about 15% every 5~10 minutes. Have completely given up playing it on my phone and use the iPad now.

We've had a couple of people mention improvements in battery drain on Android after updating to 9.0.3 so it could be worth to check if it is still the case. We will be working on further improvements for a future larger update.
